Monsta X Reaction: They Think You’re Sick But You’re Just Holding In Gas

How would they react when you suddenly looked really sick (but really you're just holding in gas that needs to be released as soon as possible)? But due to some circumstances, you have to hold it in. A/N ~ OMG firstly I am sorry that this took me forever. I hope that you like it! This is probably the most interesting reaction request I’ve gotten so far :P I hope I did well by you, I feel like this sucks but I’ve also never written something like this before :P

SHOWNU

He seems like the most chill out of all of them when it comes to things like this. He’d just be happy you weren’t actually sick. He’d probably just smile awkwardly because he relates to your situation on a spiritual level. He’s got your back but he’ll be super chill about the whole thing. 

“I know that feeling jagi, I’ll create a diversion.”

WONHO

At first he is pretty concerned about you being sick, he’d offer you medicine because he gets sick often so he comes prepared. But once you told him what the real deal was he’d laugh F O R E V E R about the situation because he’s a child. He’ll get over it eventually but he’ll still chuckle every time he looks over at you for the rest of the time you’re at the party. 

“Oh my god Y/N that’s so funny!!”

MINHYUK

When he thinks you’re sick at first he’ll ask if you want some water or if you want to go sit down while you’re standing with the rest of MX during an award show. When you told him you just have gas he’d cover his mouth in surprise to cover up his laughter. In the end he just laughs at you and tells you to just go to the bathroom to “fix your makeup”.

KIHYUN

Is just straight up awkward about the situation. He comes across as the very clean type so he likes to ignore that things like that happen. Once he finds out that you aren’t sick he just sort of laughs and covers his face with his hand while he tries to hold back his super awkward laughter.

JOOHEON

Laughs endlessly at you. He thinks it’s hilarious that he spent time worrying about you from afar before walking over to you and your group of friends and asking what was wrong. After he found out you just had gas he’d pull you outside and tell you to just let it go man! We’re all human :P

HYUNGWON

He would initially ask you if you weren’t feeling well because he saw you looking sort of uncomfortable. It’d take him quite a while to notice though. After you tell him that you weren’t sick but that you just had gas but couldn’t really do anything about it because you were waiting in line for a movie. He’d feel some secondhand embarrassment. Doesn’t ever mention it again.

“Oh... well.. that’s... okay.”

I.M

You two would have the kind of relationship where this sort of thing didn’t phase either of you. So once you told him that you had gas he’d probably chuckle at you. Teases you and tells you you’re gross and that he’s never had gas in his entire life or something like that. In the end he pulls you outside and teases you again by running away from you while covering his nose. 

“Gross Y/N! How could you?”

You laid across your bed with your head on Taeyang's stomach. He was toying with his phone and you were staring up at the ceiling thinking bitter thoughts on this bitter day.

"How am I really still single on Valentine's Day?" You asked him with an annoyed tone. "I ask myself the same question every year Y/N. On the bright side, we have each other." He said positively.

You hoisted yourself up off his stomach and sat on the edge of your bed. This had been just another consecutive year of being alone on Valentine's Day. Well, you weren't completely alone. Taeyang did have a point there. The day would be a whole lot more bitter if he wasn't by your side. But you couldn't help begin to think about how many more Valentine's Day seasons you'd spend single. You felt the bed shift behind you and a pair of legs came into your peripheral view. Taeyang put his arm around your shoulders.

"Hey, are you gonna be okay there little bitter bug?" He said it casually even though he knew the answer. It was written in the wrinkles of the frown across your face. "I'm gonna die alone, aren't I?" You asked him sadly. "What? No! We're both still young! We've got lots of time to find love and all that. Don't be so down, Valentine's Day is just another day." He squeezed your shoulder reassuringly.

You liked how your friendship with him was. It had always been this comfortable. The type of friendship where you could walk into the dorms at any time of the day or night and climb into Taeyang's bed and rest with him. The type of friendship where if you felt down you had no problem talking to him about it and he'd always try his best to be your hero when you needed him to. The type of friendship where no matter what you could count on him. He could do all of the same things for you. It was never awkward or confusing. Both of you knew where you stood from the very beginning all the way until now. You were such close friends that you sometimes even joked about being together forever because no one else really made you as happy as each other. You could be your authentic selves and there was never any boundaries you had to worry about crossing. You two just knew each other that well.

As you felt Taeyang rub your arm you tilted your head to rest it on his shoulder. You'd made up your mind. "If neither of us are in a relationship or married by next Valentine's Day can we just date?" You asked boldly. At first he chuckled. But when you lifted your head to look at him his eyes widened and he gave you the 'wait are you being serious?' look. You nodded in response. "I mean, is that something that you'd really want?" He asked genuinely. You thought it over for another brief second before responding. "Sure, why not? We already get along super well. We both hate being alone on Valentine's Day. Plus this is the second one we've spent together to celebrate our singledom. Why not switch it up a bit if things haven't changed a year from now." You blushed a little as you spoke. Your head dipping down to hide the red on your cheeks. "Deal." He said definitively. Your head shot back up and you grinned at him. "Really!? You mean it?" You smiled wide at him with an excited tone.

He laughed loudly at your reaction. "Sure, why not?" He winked at you. You both laid back down on the bed with your legs hanging over the edge. Your head resting on his upper arm which was outstretched to the side to second as your pillow. He pulled out his phone and began toying with it again. "Lemme show you this video I found on YouTube. I almost cried laughing when I was watching it." He said casually.

And life was back to the way it always went. Comfortable with Taeyang.

A/N ~ Sorry that this was so short! I had to rewrite it after losing it off of my old laptop :/ So I couldn’t return it to it’s former glory. I hope that it was still enjoyable! I really loved writing it! <3

As soon as he found out that you like him he would make a move. This is only if he didn’t ask you out even before he found out you felt the same about him. He would probably be the most confident one in this situation. Not hesitating to let you know how he felt about you and then asking you out on a date with that handsome smirk of his.

JIN

Once he found out that you liked him he would feel giddy for a few minutes before deciding he had to plan a way to confess to you. He’d work hard to melt your heart regardless of the close guarantee that you would accept his offer for a date. He would want to really make you smile. He’d also be the one to tell you truthfully that he found out you liked him before he confessed to you. He’d do it in a nice casual way though.

JHOPE

SO EXCITED! Tries to control himself but definitely fails. Jumps around and hugs all the other members and practically yells that “IT’S FINALLY HAPPENING THE LORD HAS HEARD MY PRAYERS!!!” 

He would want to ask you out the next time he sees you. He might get a little cringey and call you a cutie a few more times than necessary before telling you that he knows you like him and that he’s extremely happy about that.

SUGA

Keeps his cool but his heart explodes on the inside. Saves it in the mental bank. Spends even more time with you in the future so that he can get closer to you. He would super casually start talking about how he liked you and tell you that he knew how you felt about him. He’d want to talk about starting a relationship possibly and seeing how you guys got along as a couple.

V

Gets all blushy and flustered when he finds out you like him. Is super smiley for long after. He would tease you about who you like and always ask about who it was to try and get you to confess to him. If you didn’t break then he would break first and tell you that he likes you but he would be so shyyyy. Once he told you and you confessed your mutual feelings he’d giggle and just say “I know.” What better way is there to start a relationship than with giggles and smiles?

JUNGKOOK

Just super happy. Smiles his big smile and then dies a little inside. He’d be super blushy around you from then on because now not only does he like you but he knows you like him back. Just a cute bun. Eventually he’d ask you out if the other boys gave him some advice and encouragement.

JIMIN

Super cheeky. 

“Hey Y/N, I know a secret about you.” He’d say with slightly red cheeks and a cute smirk. He would tease you after he found out but he’d also go straight to the point and confess his mutual feelings for you. He’d ask you on a date immediately and complement you like he always does.
