So here's a few more photos from my recent photoshoot. I am moving towards a more dark academic and poetic kind of aesthetic if you have not noticed yet. Still vintage inspired, mind. However, I think it's a bit more honest with my interests and I want to be honest, and myself. This being said, I am a vintage-inspired artist, and I won't always be authentic to the eras. I'm from the 2160s anyways (and no, we still do not have flying cars but feel free to ask any questions). It was never the goal to be true to the eras, but always the goal to be myself and experiment; trying new things. I just happen to like a vintage aesthetic, and also darker toned themes when it comes to my own interests (Psychology, true crime, mystery, moody, victorian horror, etc.) So I will continue to do that. Doctor Who anyone? Who was your favourite doctor? Mine was Peter Capaldi's doctor. He was very witty in a unique way. Although I will say David Tennant's doctor was very memorable. Luckily I think I was able to pull off his look somewhat today. I just need the shoes now. AnyWHO. Experimenting with a variety of poses. It can be easy to get tied down in the same old stand and stare pose. These felt a bit more Instagrammy. I'm currently taking Photo II at university, and I had to come up with a story to tell through photography. Here's what I captured. Though I had a general idea of what I wanted (and it is very inspired by a few similar scenes from Netflix's Peaky Blinders 🎬) it is really open to interpretation. This series is called 'The Descent.' 📸 To me, it seems like the man might be in the depths of pain by the recent loss of his wife.
