Personal update and art notes
Since I have recently turnt in my final assignment for my bachelor’s degree, and after slowly recovering from an ORDEAL SPANNING SIX YEARS for a bachelor’s degree(!), I now have the time to follow up on all my projects/life that has been on hold for all this time.
Did I scare away the fools? Truth does that to fools. Good.
Improving my tablet with a matte screen protector recently has instantly eased me back into teaching myself how to draw digitally, and I just noticed the following things, maybe you know what is up with that
I love sketching zoomed in and just building a shape (a skull recently) with a brush size on the smaller end (around 15 Pixels if memory serves?), but when I zoom out, resize that thumbnail, I—in order to “add details”—switch to a smaller brush size (because I think that details equal a smaller brush size) and then whatever I do looks like scratches done with a pixel brush.
There is this switch from “this is cool” to “this looks like sh*t now, why did I do that, I know nothing”, and I faintly recall that this is an issue I have faced all these years ago, which pretty much made me not work digitally during these last six years at all.
