So… I’ve been taking a few too many hot showers to deal with my cold, which means as much as that I had too much time to imagine possible scenarios of the whole P5R thing.

This isn’t a speculation/theory, just me writing down and sharing a little thing I came up with as a possibility.

In short, I am just a bit bored without much inspiration for actual writing..

This idea all came to be after I asked myself one little thing, when is this girl a first-year? That she is is clear, but the question lies when she is in the P5 timeline.

Prior to the original story is practically impossible, as the PT did at least already exist when she was shown. (I mean, the dialogue+background could technically not be connected to her appearance, but damn that’s a stretch)

I am actually holding the possibility she could just become a first year right after the original story, making her even one year younger than Futaba. This is just a thought that would make an interesting possible sequel.

On to the actual idea.

There seems to be some sort of connection between Ribbon-chan and Akechi, and my wandering mind has made a little story based around it. Yes, it is the sibling idea.

My idea is that Akechi during his whole ‘job’ has definitely looked for others in a similar situation to his own, and that’s where he found her. Obviously he never told her anything that she didn’t need to, it was too dangerous to know too much after all, but he at least stayed in contact. To such an extent that Ribbon-chan might’ve seen him as the brother she never had.

But then, one day, Akechi had gone missing. The two of them had spoken and speculated a lot about the PT during his investigation, and the sudden disappearance made her suspicious. (I am also holding the possibility he had been speaking about the case less and less in order not to reveal too much, which also raised more suspicion.)

It’s odd, but at first Ribbon-chan is nothing but in shock. The one person she had once had the opportunity to call ‘family’ has disappeared, she was all alone yet again.

Somewhere around Akechi also gets wiped from the general cognition. I’m thinking at the same moment as the PT, as Akechi’s main popularity came from investigating them after all. Only those really close still remember him, just like only the confidants remain to remember the PT. In Akechi’s case that appears to be not many beside Sae and Joker. (Even the rest of the PT has seemed to completely forgotten about him as he is never brought up again by any of them.) (Whether or not Shido still remembers him at all is unknown… I sure hope he does..)

But Ribbon-chan remembers too, and she doesn’t understand why everyone had suddenly forgotten about him? This raises her suspicion on the PT by a significant amount.

So, she decides to go to Shujin the next year, to the place it all started, to figure out just what happened to her ‘brother’.

Along the lines she finds out many things, things about her past, things about this weird thing called the metaverse.

And somewhere along the lines she gets drawn into a much deeper case. What has happened in the research facility for example?

 That concludes my weird ideas of the day! I’m not saying this is at all close to what’s really gonna be P5R’s story, but it’s at least a story I would like to see. (For clarity, if it isn’t I’m probably gonna write it myself one day.)

But that fun is only temporary for one of them. One of them, as he is alone at night, is nothing but depressed.

And when his accidental confession isn’t directly met with an acceptance the dark thoughts take over. Resulting in what would be ‘The darkest of nights’

Summary:

A series of violent murders have been terrorizing the city for some time. Most of them have been found to have a connection to the Phantom thieves, the victims openly being hateful about them, but not all. Some even the police have been unable to tie to the others, but the violent nature of all is what still makes then seem connected.

Only Akira knows what ties them all together. It is him.

He doesn’t know yet why this is happening around him, or who is behind it all, but the thoughts of it being someone close to him frightens him. None of his friends could actually be a murderer, right?

I haven't done one of these before, but I'm back with me theorising about the anime again!

First of all, we have some sort of confirmation that we will have more than 24 episodes, as shown at the end of this episode. This might mean all my (and many others) fears of the anime getting out of time won't be true. They can make it till the end.

The second aspect is the deadline the anime stated for Okumura's palace, september 30. Within the game it's actually set at a later date, october 11. Apparently there already was a change in dates with Futaba's palace, but I hadn't noticed that myself before. It is also worth noting that as Ren got captured there hasn't been any confirmation about a specific date, just that it was somewhere in november

Well, what could these things mean?

They now have more time. More episodes and more time within the story itself. This might very well be the lead-up to this Twist we've all been talking about before.

My personal favourite idea is another palace. I would love Akechi's palace! And considering his character keeps getting more build-up and the fact that the anime director likes him it might be possible. But of course I'm just in love with Akechi palace concepts in general...

They can also do something different with Akechi probably. I am close to certain that whatever reason they have, it will have something to do with this detective. Maybe they can go on a mission to save the boy after he 'died'?

Overall, something is definitely happening. And as of now it finally seems like they actually got the time for it.

But I guess we will see what they have in store. The after credits scene was our introduction to Sae's palace, which will also mean Akechi will get into the story more and more. I'm hoping on something great to happen though!

I just got the most perfect idea for a fic and I really need to yell about it before I get into writing it!

So, it will be one of my signature angst fics, another suicide/depression fic, but there is a little twist.

You won’t be able to know who is the actual depressed one!

I’m gonna write these internal monologues and painful sad moments without stating the character. And when they are together neither of them behave like this at all, only in their inner thoughts.

I don’t know which ship I will be writing yet, since I am literally able to destroy every character out there, but it will most likely be another Persona 5 fic.

I am so looking forwards to making this!

(If anyone has any suggestions for ships I’d love to hear it btw!)
