Shiva!

so a little bit ago i posted my first attempt at animation and some doodles alongside it of a changeling i was working on,, well shes undergone some changes (slight pun intended).

so this is her now that the campaign has started! shes gotten a bit crazier and a little more feral and now shes a druid too! I've already gotten to play her a little and im excited to do more with her :)

shes lived out in the woods for most of her life and has gotten into some.. interesting magic recently (keeping it vague in case any of my group sees this) and now shes not doing all that great in the brain region........

Duergar Doodle

Ive been having a really hard time with art in general recently, but i tried my best this morning to do SOMETHING and ended up making a duergar - i did this under the guise of making a character for my friend's upcoming campaign but idk if ill actually use her for it more just a practice thing / trying to get back into the groove

Fairley!

Another (mini) campaign means another character, this time its my Eladrin Artificer, Fairley and her companion robot FAFNIR!

Fairley is a fall Eladrin who is well versed in robotics and engineering, having been top of her class in early education and college she quickly got a job at a big robotics company and is doing quite well for herself. Especially given how young she is (for an elf).

She built FAFNIR (Friend Assembled From Nickel, Iron, [and] Ruthenium) when she was 19 mainly for companionship purposes but slowly her vision started to deteriorate and by the time she was 30 she was completely blind. Because of this FAFNIR also acts as her service / seeing-eye dog and communicates with her in a couple ways in order to help with her work and day to day life.

I made her for @doritojesus 's mini-campaign, and have been working on her for a while now,, The first session was last night and it was awesome and i cant wait to experience everything else thats in store for us!!!

Animation WIP!

Im making a changeling character for a campaign a couple months away and was thinking of ways i can show her "masks" and thought it might be fun to learn some animation to possibly show it!

Its my first attempt at 2d animation like this so most of the time spent was just figuring out the software (i used clip studio paint) and doing a quick test thing but all and all i think it went pretty well!

i wanna add a few more frames of "rest" between the two forms and id like to do more but i just wanted to get down something fun for her! and learn a little bit before trying to do anything insane :)

Heres some of my sketches for her as well, i know going in shes not gonna have had the best of times in the world and so i was going for a straight-jacket turned robes idea for the outfit that im gonna push a bit further as i draw her more :)

Bloodborne Doodles day 2!

doing this yesterday was a nice, low-stress warmup thing so i think ill try and do this daily for now but dont get mad if i miss a day lol :)

- So, After a short jaunt in the sewers Duck returned back to the surface wandering around for anything that might be of use. Instead finding another person in distress.

too bad shes not the nicest if youre new in town...

being a fairly altruistic individual good, ol' Duck stops whenever they can to help someone and when they find a kid asking for help finding their mum they dont hesitate to lend a hand

luckily a new weapon in hand might also be good in a place like Yharnam..

The city is full of danger.. and the path that Gilbert had suggested is no different, leading Duck face to face with a new kind of monster.

not my usual stuff but i started a bloodborne playthrough for the first time since elden ring came out and decided to do little doodles of my character's adventures in Yharnam as i went along :)

So to start i did a waste of skin character and named them Duck just because i thought it was fitting

when they arrive in Yharnam they dont really have much of an idea whats happening and know that they need to find some sort of pale blood and answers as to what is going on with this place and themself..

for a while theyd stick to side alleys and stay in the shadows being weary of all the people who have seemingly gone mad.

eventually finding some solace in Gilbert, a fellow outsider - side note I love Gilbert sm he is def one of my fav npcs in the game i love his story - who at least tries to be a little helpful in Duck's quest for answers.

soon enough Duck is cornered, trapped with no way out but to fight, and out of fear they take the life of their assailant and keep moving forward..

they find some clothes belonging to one of the hunters they keep getting mistaken for, realizing that they dont have many options they take up the mantle, and cloak, of a hunter at minimum its darker clothes than the bright red shirt she was wearing before..

meeting Eileen is nice, but not too helpful once again, Duck is left perplexed and angry at the old hoonter and takes their leave.

They look down below the city, spying a ladder leading into the sewers, assuming and hoping that maybe itll be safer down there than risking another attack from the mad Yharnamites.. too bad its just as bad down there as it is in the rest of the city.

So yeah! theres some quick doodles from my time plaything this morning, doing this was a nice way to start my day / do a little warm-up with less stress about coming up with a new idea or anything so maybe ill do more of these later / tomorrow morning too!

Elf Doodles

I dont have a name for her yet but ive been drawing this elf nonstop and she invades my every thought!!!!

I used her as a warm-up yesterday just doing 90 second expressions so here are those as well :)

She started as being based off of a Nightborne Mage oc but slowly has just turned into more drow / dark elf as ive been drawing her :) She acts and appears very prim and proper for the most part but is really actually a bit more feral and wild than her demeanor would suggest.

Ill probably post more of her because this is the first character ive madde with like no real intention of doing anything with them and its kinda freeing? like i can just do whatever i want to and thats neat when normally i make characters specifically for dnd or something.

Lissa Hart

This is Lissa Hart! Functionally speaking shes a Jerbeen Bard but really shes just a small mouse-girl with a heart of gold, shes very kind and sweet but not the sharpest tool in the shed.

She used to work with a troupe of various performers from bull-riders to acrobats to individuals with incredible magical aptitude, and shed help with many of their acts, often playing the part of a comic relief. Dressing much like a clown would in our universe so as to stand out even within the troupe.

Eventually she left the group and struck out on her own hoping to play her violin and be taken seriously as a musician instead of perceived as a joke - she never did get rid of her signature outfit though.

Baysel and Cherry!

Just some doodles of Baysel and her plasmoid gf Cherry :)

Shes a cleric to the god of death, she discovered an abandoned shrine to them, restoring it and dedicating herself to the worship and care of the god and its shrine.

During her travels across the realm Baysel and Cherry met and the two fell for eachother almost instantly. Now, the two are very rarely seen apart.

Baysel worships the very ground Cherry walks on and would do anything for her, often putting herself in harms way in order to keep her safe without her even realizing.

Also theres.. a bit of a height difference between them, Cherry can technically change her size and shape as wanted however this is the form shes most comfortable in. Baysel is approximately 7'1" and Cherry is about 4'1" so heres how thatd look (give or take an inch or so on either of them)

LB's Sister!

Im finally able to post about the biggest secret ive had to keep while playing dnd to date, LB's Sister who ended up being one of the main bosses of the campaign we are playing in.

Going in order of what my party saw heres her portrait when she was first appointed CEO of the main commercial district in the city, basically making her responsible for any and all commerce.

Shes a good 15 years older than LB and as such has a lot more experience under her belt but that also meant that she was the first born by a wide margin and therefore got the attention of an outer-worldly being first. Due to its influence and corruption she wasnt really the same when we finally got to fight her. So heres that art!

I spent a lot of time redoing and tweaking this piece and i can confidently say that im happy with how it came out in the end, but here she is in all her corrupted glory!

We were able to save her from the corruption and bring her back to our base so she can recover and hopefully she and LB will get to work through there issues but heres a quick doodle of her after everything, her scales are gonna be a bit discolored for a little bit but some time and magic will help that :)

BONUS: just for the sake of the post and for archival purposes, heres the first bit pf art i did of her when my dm agreed that it would be cool to have Kay be a boss later on :)

Assorted Doodles!

First up is a more recent doodle of a character ive been playing in a couple adventurer's league sessions! This is Baysel Spiritdreamer, the Firbolg Barbarian :)

During our most recent session we fought some manticores and she was able to skin one and get a new cloak.

I was playing lords of the fallen and wanted to draw my character a little bit so i did a quick doodle.

If i were to make them into a dnd character theyd be a oath of the watchers paladin / great old one warlock i think :)

I was experimenting with different ideas for a tiefling that was blessed by a celestial.

Shes has a bit of a resting angry face but is super sweet and a very kind and noble person.

Got back into FFXIV and wanted a (relatively) fresh start so i changed my character to a viera and it altered my brain chemistry a little i think.

I swap between dancer / red mage and astrologer but i keep spending more time doing optional stuff and side quests to level up because i want to be able to play any class i want at any time lol

Alright thatll do it for this post - ill probably do this from time to time for quicker doodles or one-off characters :)

Even More LB Art!

I can finally post this because the secret was revealed and I don't have to worry anymore! Here is LB in her were-lizard form! :)

So in the universe that our campaign is taking place in wild magic is well known for being kinda bad, and it got that reputation because its the main (only?) cause of Lycanthropy. My character contracted it as a result of a wild magic surge but never transformed.. until we were fighting a boss and it finally happened. :)

Well okay its not her specifically but its her parents!

During the campaign we had the chance to go see their spirits and she was given a chance to talk to them for the first time in years.

And just for some additional information: her mom's name is Meya and was an art teacher, and her dad's name is Bher and was a metalworker / jeweler.

LB Updated!

We are around the half-way point of our campaign and i wanted to show off some changes to LB both in her physical appearance and new clothes!

She had a couple wild magic surges that changed her hair and had her grow some golden deer horns. And then i thought it might be nice to have her in a new outfit! She took the chain off her tail because she thought it might help her stay a little quieter.

Before i finished the previous thing of LB I was having a bit of trouble with playing her during the sessions. I brought it up to my dm and we thought maybe doing an "evil" arc with her could help.

So i did a thing to update her and show how the stress is getting to her and then eventually an evil-er looking one as well (honestly i might do an EvilAU drawing for her).

But just make sure you talk to your dm and tell them whats up the worst thing you can do is just stew and then hate the session, and because we talked and tried some different ideas im a lot happier and so excited for the second half of the campaign!
