19. where do you find inspiration?

OOOH good question .... it def depends on what aspect of my art

A lot of my OCs just derive from me wanting to make someone who looks cool, or who wears a certain style I like, and then I develop them from there. Like w/ characyers like day, I had sooo much troible writing him at hirst because He Was Ugly. like not actuallt he just didnt have a design I was super into. Then I gave him zebra hair and the ideas immediately started flowing.

For illustrations and actual pieces... They also spawn from one random thing. Like if I see a draeing or painting with cool lighting, I'll form a piece just so I can use similar light. Usually that alone will give me an idea for the pose n everything

Pinterest also !! I have like hudreds of things saved bcs theu give me art insp lol. Sometimes it's a pose, another pieve of art, a hairstyle, whatever.

35. if you had one piece of advice to give your younger artist self, what would it be?

mmm...... this is difficult because even going back a few years Im still in love w/ my older art. I did a lot of things right. Drew for myself and whatever seemed fun, I drew a lot but not enough to be burned out, i just had a good time with it in general. Im not someone who draws to improve, even if that is a side effect of drawing a bunch.

If I had to choose something to say.... I'd tell myself to stop worrying about keeping a consistent style. It really doesnt matter as much as people make it seem unless you're like. doing comissions or selling art as your main source of income. Eleven year old me did NAWT have to be worrying so much abt that
