Heyyyy its almost that time of the year again when I post and then go radio silent for another 11 months haha. Instead of rattling my brain to think of how to draw my characters for OC-Tober, I decided to use this month to work on my Fakemon Dex! The name of my Region is the Shimori (Dead Forest) Region and its loosely based on a post-apocalyptic America. The plot and setting of the game pull from one of the fiction stories I'm writing. I'll give more details about that as they pop up.

I went ahead and made up a proper prompt list on my own to help any interested peeps follow along with the drawings I post. Some of the days will have multiple fakemon included, while some may only have one.

I'll be doing my best to mimic the Sugimori/Pokemon artstyle, but no promises lol. Anyone who decides they want to do this with their own region is more than welcome to. Tag me so I can see you're cool fakemon!

Last set for for OC-tober 2022! Thanks to @oc-tober2022​ for the prompt list! Under the cut is a brief explanation of each picture and how they related to the prompts.  (Just like week one, which can be found here!)

Day 22: Grace (Minimal) for Memory. Grace is a rare Witch in her story that has the skills to manipulate and store memories. She often does this to patients in her care she feels may need to be stripped of their traumas until they are rehabilitated enough to be able to handle them. She never peeks on the patients memories, but sometimes take a moment to look back at her own.

Day 23: Vessithyr (DND NPC) for Bound. A dnd NPC and Coven Master for one sect of Vampires in my DND setting. Being the creator of several different vampires, they are bound to her and her will whether through devotion, debt, or sheer controlling power.

Day 24: Kori no Yousei [”The Ice Fairy”] Aka Kory (Fireball and Chain) for Victory and Forgotten. In Fireball and Chain, when a Legend is removed from the care of their Anchor, their Ego is destroyed, causing all memories of that time to be either sealed or destroyed (depending on circumstance). Kory, wanting to learn to grow on her own, chooses to leave her Anchor.

Day 25: Vada (DND Character) for Weakness. This character’s biggest weakness, at least when I was making him, is like his “dissociation” from circumstance and feeling, almost like “If Ignore the problem, its not there” to an extreme degree. This includes both his emotions and feelings, as well as his physical relationship with pain and spatial coordination.

Day 26: Buckets (DnD Character) for Temptation. Though I didn’t play him long, Buckets quickly developed a soft spot for sweets and I was a little burnt out from life and stuff as I was doing this one in the last so I just went pretty straight forward from there haha.

Day 27: Fencer (Fireball and Change) for Strange. Fencer has a fondness for fashion and in particular loves food inspired or food themed clothes, and his entire wardrobe is handmade. So got a random food generator and designed and outfit based off the food rolled (egg). His outfits, combined with his more aloof yet cowardly attitude get him labeled as “quite strange” around school. Day 28: Ric (Long Story Short) for Disease.

Ric was born without a mutation Gene, and, In LSS, those without a mutation Gene are bound to waste away into what we would considered Pop Culture zombies, basically. In an attempt to prevent that, his father did many different types of experiments to keep him from “dying” from “Hyper-radiation Poisoning,” but that doesn’t mean Ric avoided the symptoms of it, which persents itself as a progressive deteriorative disease.

Day 29: Bee (Long Story Short) for Change.

Bee has quite a “happening” backstory to say the least, and though he attempt to remain as bright and hopeful as he was as a child, both his appearance and his personality have been twisted and hammered into almost an entirely different person. Day 30: Prince Amarai (DnD NPC) for FREE CHOICE! I chose to challenge myself for day 20 and made myself draw a fursona for a character of mine. I’m not practices, at all, in drawing furry-anything so not only figuring out the proportions and anatomy, and then also the designs and the colors was fun but a bit frustrated. I ultimately don’t hate the end result haha.

Day 31 FINALE!: Fireball and Change Miscellaneous Characters. I know there wasn’t a prompt for the last day but I decided to just draw over some fun memes/images I had been kinda saving for just an occasion. I loved recoloring the maid outfits and censoring the cigarettes as candy for the kiddos. This month flew by and I loved this challenge so much!

Week 3 for OC-tober 2022. Thanks to @oc-tober2022​ for the prompt list! Under the cut is a brief explanation of each picture and how they related to the prompts.  (Just like week one, which can be found here!)

Day 15 +16: Amadio and Damon (Minimal) for Victory and Reality.  Amadio and Damon have a kind of “I-owe-it-to-you-mom-to-take-care-of-you” relationship. Damon frequently dissociates, self-medicates, and escapes reality to avoid the situations he’s found himself in. Amadio is just a smug 14 year old that would do anything to get a leg up on this random guy that visits him every few months.

Day 17: Alula (LSS) for Lie. As Head of the Black Department, Alula is allowed to use her members and resources as she sees fit, and frequently fronts as a welcoming, friendly individual to trick powerful people into her squads, so that she can later use them to achieve her goals. She often has no regard for people, seeing her grater goals as more important.

Day 18: Jarsali (DnD NPC) for Obstacle. A bit of a cheeky filler piece, I needed NPC are for my DnD campaign so I doubled up and used this character art for this day. Considering the party had to fight him to access his archives, he does act as an obstacle for a short time.

Day 19: Alecs (LSS) for Facade. Its a lot to fully explain Alecs’ character, but to put it simply she’s only like 50% human and just mimics the humans around her to blend in. Her body is composed by a specific balance of organic material and an energy called “Hyper Radiation” and the parasites inside her feed on both of those sources to maintain the balance.

Day 20: Amanita (LSS) for Death. In Amanita’s hometown she was known as the Death Fog due to the way her spores can spread over a large area and poison a high number of creatures at once. Now as the Head of Red Department, she mainly uses her powers as supplementary nutrition and remedies, but still has a strong authority due to her hazardous potential.

Day 21: Jessica Garrido (Fireball and Chain) for Different Era. Jessica has Argentinian heritage so I tried to find some traditional Argentinian outfits to put her in and was overwhelmingly met with Gauchos and Pampas so I combined that outfit with how I think she would dress is a less modern setting.

Gonna Post Week 4 through the end of the month all together. For day 30 im doing a Character-fursona and day 31 is a Monster-fied character! (Also I now realize that prompt 12 was Beginning and not begging...may bad T^T.)

A couple days last, but OCtober week 2 finished! Thanks to @oc-tober2022​ for the prompt list! Under the cut is a brief explanation of each picture and how they related to the prompts. (Just like week one, which can be found here!)

And just because i forgot to mention, the OCs for most of the prompts are picked via a spinning wheel with one OC for each day. (Which I adjust if I pick one myself cuz it fits well or if I use 2 OCs in a drawing)

Day 8: Lucy (Long Story Short/LSS) for Graceful. Lucy is a gentle giant guy who gets a bad rep cuz of his appearance. His powers don’t really do much in basic offense so he is actually really skilled in fighting and has an almost dance-like approach to avoid taking hits himself. Also he loves animals, even one-eye mutant cats, so that’s there too.

Day 9: Mason and Jade (Fireball and Chain) for Role-Reversal. Mason and Jade are loose friends in the context of the story, (Mason isn’t a student at the school so they don’t really interact) but who better than two trans kids for the ultimate role reversal. Day 10: “Fencer” and Hikari Gotou (Fireball and Chain) for Dream. The prompt for this is more about myself than the characters. Bleach is one of my biggest inspirations and this was the airdate for the new season, so I drew two of my characters that matched the personalities of the Bleach characters the best and tried my hand at copying the newest seasons style. It’s a dream of mine to have a story that gives people the same feelings and inspiration that Bleach gives me.

Day 11: Reiku Gotou (Fireball and Chain) for Fight. Reiku is one of the most powerful in her story, so her fights don’t usually last long. Wanted to give a shot at a manga art style and format for this one. Took a lot of time and effort but was really fun. (A couple of the SFX didn’t export with the image and that made me sad but I didn’t have time to fix it, sadly.) Day 12: Istalf (Fireball and Chain) for Begging. I was originally gonna do something more “spicy” for this one cuz...Istalf is...anyway, but I got uncomfy looking for references in my family’s living room so instead I just went with a simple scene of him complaining about having to take care of kids he secretly loves and would die for. Day 13: Arlen and Jet (Minimal) for Fear. I spun Jet for this one but they are honestly not that fearful of a character. They are very “for the sake of science” and don’t really worry too much about their own safety during things, but they do care a lot for the character Arlen and often has to see him put himself in danger/pain as part of their job so yeah. Day 14: Eiza (Fireball and Chain) for Legend. This one was very amusing to me and straight forward because in Fireball and Chain, Eiza is a creature that is called a “Legend” so I was kinda free to do whatever I wanted for this one, so I just found a fun angle to try out. (I colored the entire jacket and the rainbow splatter on it just to greyscale it after T^T) Two-ish weeks to go!

First week of my OC-tober finished! Thanks to @oc-tober2022​ for an awesome varied but good prompt list.

My “goal” (on top of just finish OCtober) is trying out different styles, pose types, and techniques for the images. Though not for every single one, cuz that would be exhausting, which s why they might not all be super consistent style-wise.

Under the cut is a brief explanation of each picture and how they related to the prompts. (Yeah, I know, I accidently rolled a bunch of characters from the same story in a row).

Day 1: Kelial Rotroot (DnD Character) for Childhood.

So this one is pretty easy, the character is 10 and the campaign basically is their childhood. 

Day 2: Desiré (Story: Minimal) for Impossible

Desiré is a witch in the universe of Minimal, and spends a lot of time trying to find magical means to help the “minimals” around her, a subtype of humans with magical “blood’ (very quick breakdown), including her lifelong friend Dakoda, though with each failed attempt, the task seems more and more unreachable

Day 3: Arlen Neat (Story: Minimal) for Control Arlen is a Minimal whose power is considered one of the most offensively capable, and thus is constantly manipulated by those around him for personal gain.

Day 4: Dakoda (Story: Minimal) for Hidden

Dakoda is a minimal who has had access to his powers since a young age but has kept it hidden away due to the way it damages himself and those around him, but as the Story Minimal goes own, he starts having to use those powers.

Day 5: Elizabeth/”Mary”/The Nun (Story: Minimal) for failure

Elizabeth is a Minimal that is a fugitive of the Anti-minimal organization that works to home and re-habilitate Minimals so they can live their lives as comfortably as possible after their trauma triggers their Minimals “awakening.” Elizabeth is considered the “Failure” of the organization as all attempts to secure and treat her have been unsuccessful and lead to more harm than good.

Day 6: Mori Shawndresh (Dnd NPC) for Reflection Mori is a Chocolatier that makes lifelike chocolate statues and treats for parties and such. His child was gifted powers from the God of fun, and is now the God of Art. Day 7: Kat and Ric (Story: Long Story Short/LSS) for Routine.

Its a dystopia, but Kat will pester their boyfriend as long as it takes to make sure they follow the hair Routine they’ve worked out for her. Ric picked up it rather quickly when they first met so now its a bit of a tradition to do her hair after each mission. That’s all, hopefully I remember to post the others!

Back from the dead again to post for the first time in like 2 months1

Bleach has one of my favorite animes of all time for a long time and in honor of the new chapter I started rewatching it and forcing my cousin to watch it. Just before we finished, the new tailer for TYBW dropped and my fire was just renewed all over again. Additionally, I have newly started playing Genshin Impact and was lucky enough to pull the oni himbo himself. Itto is adorable So anyway I decided to combine Ichigo and Itto together, though thier personalities don’t entirely match, I’ll admit. But boys with big weapons and hearts of gold? Oh, hell yeah. I call him Kurataki Ichitto

Inspired by @sarah-truly, I filled this expression sheet by @capochiino with some of my protagonists. can you talk about being intersex and cis? how do you know if you're cis or trans when you're intersex? i promise this isn't meant to be rude i'm just a little confused as to how gender works when you're intersex. thank you so much.

I’m cis because I’m afab and still identify as a woman. If I was afab and identified any other way, I’d be trans. I’m intersex because my body itself has a mixed bag of secondary sex characteristics and hormones.

The label “intersex” itself isn’t a gender identity as much as it’s a way for people with mixed or ambiguous sex characteristics to define that experience. There are cis men and women who are intersex, trans people of every kind as well. I’m sure there are intersex people who just identify as intersex entirely but most intersex people I’ve met still identify as male, female, or nonbinary. Because your body doesn’t determine your gender identity.

Also, the opposite of intersex is perisex. You can be cis or trans, while being intersex or perisex. If you’re not intersex, you are perisex.
