I'm convinced that we live in a simulation

I'm not sure if it's too simple to count as a normal phenomenon but there have been several instances in the recent past when I've experienced something and suddenly I'm noticing that very thing in other places a little too frequently for comfort. For example, I really liked this piece of clothing in my friend's outfit (having seen it for the first time by the way) and just months later I'm seeing it on a lot of people ( its a pretty random article, not even something that's suddenly gotten trendy or mainstream). There have been several other times when I'd find some relatively old and obscure song on Spotify and listen to it a lot and within a week a lot of people would include it on their Instagram stories its fascinating and honestly a little unsettling
