Can you explain more on what you mean with ShowPony thinking Dr Death Defying is a father figure please?

Of course anon! I’d be more than happy to answer that for you :D

Showpony had escaped from Battery City like any other killjoy (unless you’re desert born) and had a little different belief than the others. Of course they wanted to fight for freedom and break away from BLI to make noise but they didn’t wanna kill in the desert unless they absolutely have to. Now, when they got to a certain point and they just saw nothing but sand, Pony felt like giving up until a rather pale van had pulled up besides them and honked the horn. Inside was Dr.Death Defying himself.

Dr.D brought them back to the radio shack and pretty much shaped them into who they are today. Although he can’t walk too good, he somehow taught ShowPony how to skate by either drawing it out or describing it really well to them. He was like the father that Pony never had and taught him most of the stuff they know so they can pass it onto younger killjoys. Either way, the two have a bond that nobody can really do anything about. They’re like stuck together and if anything were to happy to dr.d , ShowPony would NOT be happy about it one bit.

Hello!!! Thanks for asking! Uhh...it all depends on what you mean, dear!

I love them both dearly and I appreciate all killjoys the same (maybe some a little more butttt we don’t talk about that ;] ) ! Though, if you do mean ship-wise, I love them! I think the dynamics are definitely there and it’s a vibe.

Party is the one who does stupid stuff and Jet is their conscience ! Like, say Party was gonna suddenly go drive the Trans Am with the mousekat helmet on (which they can see out of very well in this case) then, Jet would them step in to stop them! Although the dynamic is very over used, I like it for this ship! Even if you weren’t looking for a shippy post, the dynamic is still the same butttttt!!! THERES MORE!!

Jet Star is a chaotic, Reblious man and whether you choose to believe it or not, that’s up to you. I’m just saying after years of hanging out with the same 3 people for years and suddenly adding a child, you can get a little crazy. Party has to take on the role of being his self control some times and the others find it VERY funny to just watch Jet ready to do something stuoid then see Party run up with a beat up fly swatter (the swatter of stupidity) !

Anyways, sorry for rambling but thanks for asking anon! I love these two killjoys a lot!

What would the killjoys do on a road trip?

Hi anon! Thanks for asking, this is a..very chaotic scene to think about.

Party drives like always and Jet is in the passenger seat, trying to guide them. Kobra and Ghoul are in the back, talking about music or what they wanna do when they get there.

Eventually, Kobra gets bored and starts asking the dreaded repeated question of, “are we there yet?” Just to piss off his brother. Party obviously gets annoyed and starts yelling at him while Jet tries to calm Party down. Ghoul is eating a bag of chips that he STOLE while this is all going on.

Silence eventually falls over the group and its not long before party has to pull over to yell at Kobra again because he’s kicking the other killjoys seat. Ghoul and Jet are watching from the car as the two argue (it’s mostly just Party yelling at Kobra and Kobra trying not to laugh)

They eventually get to the destination and all is good!!! Party passes out in the car while the others are getting snacks though :| anyways, hoped this sparked something for you anon!

I know we all seem to say that the killjoys are escaped from the city but...imagine Jet and Ghoul are desert born and Dr.D had 2 tiny kids running around the shack, hitting each other. I think very hard about this...I mean how long do you think it took for them to learn the basic skills of living in the desert?

Jet probably got it right off the bat but ghoul was a little dumbfounded. He got some parts but Jet had to explain the rest when they were alone.

And now, I sign off thinking about Dr.D being the father he never had <3

what are some personal head canons you have for the killjoys??

Oh!! this is exciting to talk about- i’m only gonna do a couple for each because I don’t wanna take up the post

PARTY POISON

+has a collection of necklaces he finds cool or just likes the sounds they make when they rattle + He’s the driver and will NOT let anybody else drive. That’s HIS car right there. Sometimes, Jet can drive but Kobra and Ghoul cannot even touch it when he’s not around KOBRA KID

+He doesn’t have the nicest teeth but, he does have canine like teeth! He got chompers! +Kobra’s sunglasses are actually some prescription sunglasses! He can’t see all that well and used to have glasses in battery city but they broke. Party found him the sunglasses. FUN GHOUL + He has Heterochromia! His eyes are green but one eye is a lighter shade than the other <3 +Ghoul is VERY dedicated to the witch. He follows traditions and has a shrine to give offerings to them !

JET STAR +Jet has a grey streak in his hair that he was born with! He refuses to do anything about it because he thinks he’s blessed with it. +He has a star shaped birthmark on his lower hip that EVERYONE thinks is a tattoo but, it’s a birthmark.

CHERRI COLA +Midwestern accent. He is a cowboy, I do not make the rules! I just enforce them. +Cherri has burn scars from playing with fire from when he was younger, showing them off with pride sometimes but certain scars he’s hesitant to talk about.

SHOWPONY +Dr.D is like a father figure to them and would do anything for him. +They see the good in a lot of people which is their greatest weakness. They’re too kind and that results in somebody having to go comfort them :/
