THATS WHAT IVE BEEN SAYING FINALLY!!!! I KNEW I WASNT INSANE!!!!

Li Jing has trapped Nüwa - A season 5 theory

Now I know, this sounds crazy, but dont worry it will all make sense when i show you my evidence for it:

Evidence number 1: How he has the power to do

Evidence number 2: How he has the right motivation to do so

Evidence number 3: Its is shown IN THE LEGO SETS

Evidence number 1: He has the power to do

First of all, Li Jings "Pagado" is weapon used to "trap" people inside of it(sort of like the calabash). He even used this in the original mytholgy against Nezha, when Nezha tried to kill him(Dont worry, i will make an analysis about them soon).

And we even see Li Jing! trap MK in the Pagado in the trailer! (Notice how MK is the only one being pulled forward, while the other are getting pushed back) (This was metioned in a breakdown here)

Second of all, we know this Pagado, is IMPORTANT, with how it placed in the direct middle of the season 5 poster. MK and the rest are even IN A PAGADO IN THIS POSTER. (picture of real life pagoda underneath)

Evidence number 2: He has the right motivation to do so

If we want to understand how Li Jing's motivations works, we first have to look at where he got his ideals from: The Celistial Realm.

Since season 4, we have all been made aware that the whole "Celistial realm system" isnt that great. The Jade Emperor being a prime example of this, as mentioned by Azure.

Azure: "But overtime it became clear for me, that The Jade Emperors only concern was kepping his subjects under his boot"

And if we actually start analyzing it further, we realize that The Celistials realms biggest flaw is that they focus too much on "Order".

Bassicaly: Everyone has their roles and needs to follow them, like how Nezha was so intense about his whole "protect the celistial realm" role. So much indeed, that it was WORTH MORE THAN HIS OWN LIFE.

So it would make sense that in this next season, we would get a direct antagonist(or even villian) who is FROM The Celistial Realm.

Because lets be real, even though MK and the rest are heroes, they dont really follow the celistial realms whole "order system".

They are so incredebly chaotic, that of course someone like Li Jing(whom seems very happy for "intrapping the chaotic", aka putting a circlet on Wukongs head) would not like our protagonists.

And with all this in mind, how would someone like Li Jing then react to Nüwa? Someone who seems to embrace the chaotic as not "something that needs to fixed", but as something that is vital for this world (a real philosophy in dualism btw).

Yea, Li Jing would not like someone like that.

Anyway last evidence:

Evidence Number 3: It is shown in the Lego sets:

The only time we have seen Nüwa in the lego sets was something called the "Celistial Pagoda"

Notice how Li Jing is IN that Lego sets, holding his Pagoda, that looks suspingly a lot like a smaller version of the big Pagado.

With all this in mind then....This is how i imagined it went down:

How Li Jing trapped Nüwa

Li Jing one day learned that the creation godess, Nüwa, was creating something called "The Harbinger of Chaos". He didnt know what it even was, but he DEFINITELY didnt like the sound of it.

Therefore, Li Jing goes to confront Nüwa, trapping her in the process, but... what about MK you might say?

Well as RV sketch theorised in their video: "What is MK", MK is acutally Broken/ not complete yet (hence why he is glitching, and also why his stone has that crack).

Therefore they also theorised that the reason that he isnt Broken/ not complete yet, is because that something happend to Nüwa while she was making him, leaving MK alone and unfinished.

He then, somehow, got brought to live, and found his way to Pigsy.

This then meaning, that if both our theories are correct, Li Jing was the one to trap Nüwa and leaving MK all alone on that mountain.

Li Jing might even have found MK's half finished stone and tried to DESTROY IT. And thinking that he finished the job, he just left it there (not knowing that MK is now the result of that).

Conclusion:

Li Jing not only ruins his own family, but also ruins other peoples(deities) families too!

I was hoping to get Glow in my memory chapter two done this weekend but I’ve been super busy! I don’t know if I’ve said it on here, I know it did in the chapter notes but I’ll say it again, my mum has breast cancer and we’re really close! So I’m doing everything I can to make her comfortable and happy while doing chemotherapy.

Don’t worry, I’m ok, she’s ok, she has surgery and it was very very early stages but chemo is really hard! Especially when you’re already chronically ill!

So forgive me glow fans! The draft with definitely be done and that means it’ll be out soon just not this week! Thanks for all the support as always, I appreciate every like, comment and question.

Does Jade Emperor like heavenly MK or hate him ?

What are some of his tasks as a celestial soldier ?

Did they ever use the fillet on him ?

The Jade Emperor hated him at first, his own Nephew brought his greatest enemy’s child into HIS home. But he quickly came around when he realised the potential. What better way to hurt the Monkey King than by turning his only child against him? But he doesn't have the relationship Erlang has with him. He sees him more like a guard dog than an actual person. He's just another soldier in his ranks.

Mk didn't have any serious tasks until like, the fanfiction starts purely because Heaven wanted to hide him. Putting aside the few who knew, they didn't want to risk revealing an adolescent stone monkey to the world lest Sun Wukong comes running to try and take them away.

So their tasks up to the present were either a lot of training or boring, tedious jobs that celestials would give him as an indirect way to punish/bully him. Despite his status as Erlang’s son/apprentice, he is still not liked by most. He's a lower being to them, a dirty stone monkey.

He is later finally given more serious jobs like going down to the mortal realm and fighting monsters, saving the innocent and helping the mortals. No matter what task he is given, Mk loves helping people and now he's older, he can hold his own against any Brotherhood trying to convince him to change sides.

As for that last one…i can neither confirm nor deny if that happens >:)))

YES ! I have been waiting for a story, where someone finds baby MK and adopts them into the celestial realm and trains him ! Yes !!!!! I saw that this au is still in preparation, but I can’t wait for it to! I am all in for Dad Erlang and Uncle/Brother Nezha ! Also, does Wukong know someone took baby MK ?

I am very excited for this story too sjgehegehsgh I'm controlling the urge to write it by doodling because I've still got two others first! There is a lack of Heaven Mk Aus out there,,, its such an interesting idea because I'd like to think its kind of the opposite of what he currently is.

Heaven is very smart, perfect and orderly while Mk commits several vehicular crimes on the daily. He is also another stone monkey and we all know heaven LOVES stone monkeys!

As for Wukong, yes. He does know someone took his egg but he has no idea who. He of course can't go looking in heaven, afraid of the consequences to not just himself but his kingdom, and heaven won't tell him because only a select few know the truth about Mk’s heritage and the rest assume he was just another random stone monkey heaven found first.

If they do see the similarities, they don't ask.

In "my little sky"

Who stole MK and how old will he be when he gets to meet his actual parents ?

Its revealed in chapter one very fast so I'm fine with answering this: specifically, it was Erlang but it wasn't his order. He didn't make the decision but he followed it.

While the brotherhood is in heaven fighting, a secret party comes down and steals the egg before anyone can return home. They plan to destroy it to ensure no more mystic monkey little goblins can spawn but Guanyin, being the goddess of mercy, cannot watch while a newborn baby is killed.

She steals the egg and keeps it in a stasis until Wukong finishes his pilgrimage and is able to raise a child again because he spends a really long time mourning everyone he's lost.

So when they do meet again, Mk is still an egg! But he's certainly VERY close to hatching!

I love the Au where MK loses his memories after being in coma for so long. I just re-read it and I can’t wait for chapter 2 !

Will MK now just try to do stuff he wants and not behave like his former self ? Kind of like a teenage rebellion phase with amnesia ?

Yes he will! While it's pretty obvious Mk is Xiaotian, they're very different. Xiaotian was raised all his life with a loving family, lots of freedom and ability to make mistakes. (Aka Mei dragging him off to set things on fire)

While Mk was raised all his life alone. He had no one to talk to, no home to call his own if you don't count the sky and literally nothing to do but watch.

He's finally free and while he feels bad for the brotherhood’s grief, he wants to make the most of his life because he doesn't know now long his life is going to be. He knows nothing about himself and he doesn't trust anyone telling him otherwise. Is he immortal? Who knows! That massive bear looks so cuddly he's absolutely going to pet it!

Chapter 18 is done and is at almost 11k! Which shocks me yet again because I thought it was going to be a really small chapter lmao. I don't know how I keep doing that but I'm sorry greatful for whatever god is blessing me because I really don't want to write small chapters!

Anyways, I want to place an idea out here about season 5 that I haven't seen anyone talk about yet? I dunno I'm probably just dumb and its obvious but spoilers I guess!

Ok so I know every keeps saying OH MY GOD ITS SQUIDGAME which is so funny and that's probably everyone figuring what I'm going to say which is I'm guess everyone gets trapped in the Pagoda (he is pagoda man, its in his wiki which is very sad btw like maybe dont destroy your sons grave??? He died to save you in the first place????) but I do think they'll be doing some trails in there which, oh god I'm so excited for.

If its a prison, I wonder if there's a kinda redemption thing going on in there. Their in jumpsuits, trapped in a prison forced to do trails to prove their like worthy or something? Though u doubt Li Jing is going to let them out willingly. But the potential for fics makes me rub my hands evilly.

Also one thing I keep remembering is in the lego set which is the actual pagoda it talks about whats inside. “Avoid the traps” “the 100 eyed demon is always watching” “visit Li Jing in the throne room then head up the tower and retrieve the last color stone” (is the throne room IN the pagoda or do they just have to get to the top to get out and if they fail they fall back to the bottom?)

But the thing im most interesting in is in the middle of the description it just says “Hi nüwa!” JUST THAT JSHSJSH which is very funny to me but putting that aside why is Nüwa in the pagoda?

If its a prison to trap demon and monsters, what did Nüwa do to get put in there?

And does it involve her creation of Mk?????

Anyways, more Heaven!Mk doodles with Erlang Shen and Xiaotian Quan! Don't know why his text formatted that way but I can't change it so I try not to look at it lmao

Maybe some of you think it but Erland isn't a complete asshole in this fic. He's more morally grey. Like, he was originally going to kill an innocent person and only spared them because they were a baby and then raised them without telling their parents.

But the thing is, not excusing an almost attempted murder, he grew in the time he raised Mk. He is not the same man that was sent down to Flower Fruit Mountian all those years ago. In the present, he wouldn't dream of doing something like that because it's obviously clear to him that a person’s birth does not represent them and also murder just isn't the answer as a whole lmao

I like Erlang as a character and I love fics that write him as evil and good equally! But here he is stupid <333 and loves his puppy and monkey child dearly

Also, Mk is not called Qi Xiaotian, I originally was going to but it sounded stupid having Erlang name his kid Xiaotian while also having a dog named Xiaotian. The Jade Emperor named him Mk “monkey kid/child” because he obviously dislikes him lol

My Heaven!Mk au! More rambles and doodles

When Mk was born as a little chaotic monkey, he let out that same beam of light Sun Wukong did.

Heaven, hating Wukong with a burning passion, went down to kill what they thought would be a young adult monkey like Wukong was when he was born.

Erlang does not expect a literal newborn monkey.

The solider was not a monster, he couldn't kill a baby. So, with a lack of orange imps around, he stole the egg and brought back to heaven and beg to his uncle to keep it alive.

It works but as he's the one that brought it, he's punished with full responsibility of the young one.

At first, he looks at this as a tedious task but over time he grows fond of the boy, now his apprentice and they develop a father-son bond, addressing each other as such.

Here, it's Mk's first proper trip down to the mortal realm with his brother figure, Nezha to guide him.

The Monkey King is very shaken at the sight of another stone monkey, one that bears the magic of both him and Macaque but works for heaven.
