Julian Roytech the author of the Roytech Memoirs
In 1487 Julian became the first human to join The Crimson Star, and shortly after he began documenting his experiences with the interdimensional foreigners we know as the Crimson Star and their famed Atupal. He knew that the war caused 80% of all of humanity to perish and he feared that his actions and discoveries would be lost to time and the war. So he begged Omito to allow him to continue his documents and include his interest in Atupal; while it was never revealed why Omito had discomfort in the idea some historians believe Omito feared that it would cause humans to fear Atupal and its technological advancements or actively seek out Atupal. Despite this he allowed Julian to conduct interviews with citizens, soldiers, the Prison warriors, and even the Star themselves. He also documented the workings of Atupal and society, as well as Black Tree and White Tower, he also wrote about the personal lives of the Star as well and made it clear that he has full permission to share these details. He later wrote that he wanted future generations to truly understand the same people who fought for humanity as equals, and not to view them the same way we view historical figures as great role models with very few flaws or as something so different from ourselves. The same way Julian viewed Charlemagne the Great in his history classes or like how we would imagine people like George Washington or Thomas Jefferson here in America. Julian was the one who inspired others to make memoirs of there own and how they remembered the war and both the Crimson Star and the Starry Knights. He was also the inventor of the first Cameras and main other devices and his father invented the steam engine while Julian utilized it in his Trams on Atupal and Rail Canons for the walls of the city and even his gun designs as well although those blueprints were confiscated by the British government and not allowed to be seen by anyone besides the Royal family in 1921 when the documents were first found. (Pauses for a bit) yes they were legally able to do that as Julian and all his work was under joint custody of Atupal and England when Julian first joined. It was mainly an agreement that both ‘countries’ would be able to safely protect any knowledge that they both believe human is not ready to see just yet. Infact only 38 years ago the internet was invented and Atupal announced that it would then begin publication of certain Atupal technologies, it’s because of that, that we now have things like GPS and things like online banking apps. I feel like many artist will relate to this. This happens in my mind constantly when I design characters when I say I should do one character first but end up drawing someone else. They all just argue with each other of why they should be designed first, you’d think they’d be mad at me but they don’t.

Chapter 3. Soldiers
Wybor
Today I was finally given permission to record everything I can about atupal. I wanted to record my experience here and the society here. It amazes me that Omito would find discomfort in me writing about this fantastic place and it’s wonderful people. Speaking of which, today I decided to interview Wybor he is quite intimidating to look at. Wybor is a 5’10 boar made of ice and snow is he changes a lot but his shoulder height averages around 510 normally, his face is made of ice that is colored blue, it looks so unnatural for ice to look that blue and his body is made of snow that’s so soft like freshly fallen snow on the ground, how it stays on his body without falling I’ll never understand. He also doesn’t have a mouth and yet he can speak to me perfectly fine, it’s truly difficult to remember Wybor and Omito are the same race. It’s worth noting the Wybor allowed me to bury my face in his side and left the imprint of my face to stay. He seem to enjoy my astonishment of how his anatomy works and has a great deal of patience for indulging me. Surpriseingly Wybor‘s body leaves no footprints and I was even able to lift him. It has come to my attention that demons can change not only their bodies, but their density and weight. Wybor is considered “old-fashioned” by other demons because he maintains an animalistic form he’s quite loud and charismatic and has a fondness of telling stories and teaching. I understand that he is a criminal on Majiya and for ‘what crime?’ I don’t know. Omito told me never to ask in a threatening way. Wybor mentioned he was a teacher and a soldier prior to his crime, and while I never asked him what he did, he seems sort of proud. I can’t imagine what he… For an ice demon, he’s incredibly warm and kind, he treats everyone like he’s your loving grandfather and yet he strict and stern. While I was writing earlier, some smaller demon soldiers were roughhousing close to me and Wybor boomed his voice telling them to leave and be aware of their surroundings. He may be blunt and sometimes rude but he has consideration for others that “most don’t have it” his words.

I made this when I bored with a friend in a library and I drew this on a paper that I’ll post later maybe.
I wanna use this as like a background thing for the characters when they are off in. The distance from the camera. The idea came from the Hazbin Hotel episode and seeing Cherry Bomb and Angel Dust while Sir Snake guy was talking and it gave me the idea

Benette Majis
The only thing that’s not there is the MANY MANY black girls IRL that inspired her.
She’s an athletic queen and is tall as hell and still wears heels just cuz.
Unfortunately I never made a character sheet for her so this will be her character sheet kinda.
Benette is an amazing witch who has been practicing magic since she was 3-4. As the child of a wizard and a cyclops she is deemed a witch and it is illegal for her to exist on wizard moon. But she’s totally fine living anywhere else. At the age of 17 her knowledge of magic was comparable to a masters degree in each form of magic. She basically has a masters degree in almost every form of magic and the ones she doesn’t she’s still working on. Unfortunately because of her being a mixed race she can’t join the Cyclopsian Republic’s military, but she’s always dreamed of being a soldier so she joined the Crimson Star as they are they only army that has no specific race.

Kai Inspiration post of how our favorite Elf boy was made up of.
The thing about him was. When I made him I made him before I watched the legend of korra and and when I saw it I was so confused and angry. I was so mad that my character who I made up looked just like a boy from this show and he even had the same name. I gave Kai his skin cuz of Jet from Avatar, his hair from Zayn Malik, his name from an old friend who till this day I’ve never met another Kai. I considered changing his name and skin color but I already mentally knew him as Kai. I stopped working on him for a while and then I just decided to just accept the similarities between them. To make things easier to explain I’ll just take the L and say Kai was inspired by Korra’s character. His new hairstyle is based on a hairstyle I rocked for a while. Still though, his inspo was Zuko and Jet mainly, Not LOK Kai. But I know people will still go there regardless, so I’ll take the L on this one.

Some good old father son bonding. This is Boan and his father Takan. (On normal circumstances Boan wouldn’t be wearing a mask if he’s alone with his family, but I want to save bland face for the face reveal “episode”) Boans family is mainly him and his dad, his mother is alive but things are complicated with her alcoholism and gambling. There are rumors that Takan’s hair was all one color, although Boan doesn’t like thinking about it. I do intend to dive into the families of my characters later.
One side note I might change Boan’s mask shape maybe

I’ve been an earth citizen for 20 years (my friend made that up and I’ve loved it ever since)
I’m a dude, idk the exact term but I think I’m a cis man. I was born a man and have no intentions of changing that. I’m happy being a guy. I have no clue what it’s short for but oh well.

Jainai Arthur
Meet Jainai (jī like “gyro”, nigh like “the end is nigh.” Gy-nigh)
Jainai is the prince of the Fairy Kingdom and is half human on his fathers side.
Because he’s half fairy, Jainai has never actually met his dad. Jainai looks just like his father except his hair color, skin tone, and that Jainai looks like an Asian human* because he’s mixed the older generation looks down on him, being a mixed prince is not “acceptable” in their eyes. Because of that Jainai specifically wears traditional clothes, he dies it as if he has to validate himself to the older people. While he may technically be more fairy than human, he still identifies himself as mixed. (No matter how annoyed the older people get). Jainai is childish and the most immature on the team. As a water elemental he has a natural talent for healing, and has powers similar to Lapis Lazuli. He’s like an annoying little brother that floats over your shoulder asking what your doing in the most annoying way. Him and Omito have been best friends since before they can remember, and Jainai and Micheal have been like brothers since they met. The three of them have seen civilizations be born and die countless times and they have simply played along with the humans they meet. All fairies can manipulate plant matter and he only knows basic water magic. Oddly enough after thier first visit to Asia hundreds of years ago Jainai discovered a plant that became one of his favorite things about earth and uses his powers to grow enhanced breeds.
