backstory under cut

An opportunist and neutral (“opens up more business opportunities”), Swindle lives by one thing: money. She runs her enterprise on her warship selling weapons or supplies to anyone willing to pay a hefty price. Since Megatron is a frequent customer of her’s, bots associate her with the Decepticons despite not being a part of the faction.

Contrary to popular belief, Swindle is actually a good boss. She doesn’t want high turnover or a negative work environment, believing that if the workers aren’t at optimal efficiency, then that means less profit. Instead of paying for workers, Swindle hires desperate bots who offer to work in exchange for a place to stay/ protection/ fuel. And because of the good work environment and fair trade of work for shelter/ protection/ fuel, a lot of bots stay by Swindle’s side.

- Hardtop is her right-hand man

I don’t, no. Mainly because he’s already in the Aligned universe and I like him as is. But I did make two designs of him back in 2022, one that’s more inspired by MTMTE Deadlock (and meant to be his own separate character) and another that’s meant to be Pre-RiD15 Drift/ Deadlock.

But who knows? If enough people want me to, I can work on these again.

And here’s TFP AU Red Alert x Inferno x Firestar that I definitely didn’t give up on and also not one sketch has all three together.

made a tfp au tailgate that’s based more on his mtmte version!!

(backstory under the cut)

Born with a condition that makes it so that he can’t scan or transform, Tailgate had to endure years of discrimination from peers for his disability, often feeling isolated or ashamed of himself. The treatment persists to this day on Earth with Team Prime. They shelter him due to a multitude of reasons such as protection and fear of being discovered. More than anything, Tailgate wishes to be treated like everyone else.

So it was only natural that Tailgate would seize opportunities to sneak off base to escape the crushing atmosphere of Outpost Omega One. It was during one of these excursions that he ran into the Decepticon Cyclonus.

Rather than deactivating him, Cyclonus was more flabbergasted on why Tailgate doesn’t even know basic self-defense. So, he proposes an idea: he’ll train him so that he can actually pose a challenge when they meet on the battlefield (his actual reason is so that when the time comes, he would be able to deactivate him without regret). And out of pure desperation, Tailgate accepted, thus starting an odd… acquaintanceship.

Bits of info:

- NOT RELATED IN ANY WAY TO THE TAILGATE ALREADY IN TFP

- Actually physically strong but doesn’t know how to use his strength

- Panics a lot

- His condition isn’t fatal

- Can’t be cured

- It’s not as simple as replacing the T-Cog as its also linked to a bot’s coding and their spark

tfp au mirage!!

Mirage thought the war was unnecessary and blown out of proportion. The reasoning for the war starting especially he found to be idiotic and he found problems with the Autobot ways, saying they’re hypocritical for preaching about how lives are precious yet they kill Decepticons. All in all, he thinks people are better than this and hopes that maybe one day, Decepticons and Autobots can work together.

This mindset, however, would be the cause of his downfall. Autobots felt he was a Decepticon sympathizer/ spy and whenever things didn’t look good for the Autobots, all optics went to Mirage first. It didn’t take long for him to be a target for harassment.

Tired of being verbally, physically, and mentally harassed and believing he had no other choice, Mirage defected and joined the Decepticons. They accepted him and molded him into someone who could kill Autobots with no remorse.

People had different reactions to Mirage’s defection. People like Arcee, Wheeljack, and Cliffjumper and most of the Autobots took it as an admission of guilt while the few who disregarded the rumors, such as Optimus and Bee, hope that one day he’ll come back.

Other bits of info:

- Alt-mode is a 2010 Ferrari 458 itali

- Is an outlier (invisibility)

- Has retractable arm blades

- Really good at witty comebacks

- What he lacks in power, he makes up for in agility

tfp au dinobot!!

(backstory under the cut)

After concluding Project Predacon bore no new Predacons, Shockwave would be proven wrong when he finds that one had miraculously survived. Seeing as just one more Predacon is manageable, Megatron spares him and was named Dinobot in hopes that he too is as fierce and powerful as his namesake.

Like Predaking, Dinobot wishes to restore the Predacons to their former glory but not for the same reason. For Dinobot, he believes being around other Predacons will make him feel at peace. Being a lab created clone (and being manipulated by Megatron), Dinobot feels like a puppet and doesn’t feel in control of his own actions. So despite being a Predacon within the Decepticon ranks, he feels out of place.

Because he is the lone survivor of the project, Predaking is quite protective of him. Any harm that comes to him is met with dire consequences, whether they be Autobot or Decepticon, Optimus or Megatron.
