so, as of now, reading HOSAB has been a big mix of:

me generally not getting a fuck

me not being able to decide if i’m shipping Ruhn and “Agent Day” harder than Ithan and the wolf enslaved to the Astronomer, but wanting more of both

Bryce giving off Aelin’s i’ll-do-it-on-my-own-without-telling-anyone vibes

me getting mad over Tharion being unhappy and lonely.

all of this with a (un)healthy side of unwillingness to believe Sofie’s really dead, an alarming relatableness to Ruhn’s feeling empty and yes, other tears over all of the above plus Lehabah still being dead.

Shout out to the people that have no-one to spend Christmas with at all and yet have to put up with all the festive advertising of all the smiling families.

Shout out to everyone who have lost people to the pandemic so Christmas is now a time of grief and sadness, not joy.

Shout out to anyone that just hates Christmas generally - it’ll all be over soon for another year.
