Mosræv (danish for moss fox) - nonbinary transmasculine singer songwriter from Denmark. I make songs about the queer experience with some added fandom or mythology themes as a treat. This blog will contain original songs, song lyrics, transvoice related updates (hopefully) and the occasional cover song.
Sixth transgender vlog: This turned into more of a travel/concert vlog with footage from and around the four Joker Out concerts I attended this month. In transition related news I've started to notice the changes happening to my voice and face.
Fifth transgender vlog: I go through the expected changes on testosterone talking about my experiences after three months on testosterone gel. I will be hit on themes such as facial hair growth, upping my dosis of testosterone and craving more protein in my diet.
Fourth transgender vlog: A shorter one where I talk through the changes I've experienced my second month on testosterone. A tiny bit more is happening this month although outside of a period not showing up the changes has most to do with body modifications (haircolour and a new tattoo)
I haven't been doing a lot of lowfi demos in a while and would like to get back to it (especially now there's a break from choir and my voice may soon start to change)
I would like to hear what you might prefer I do first:
Option 1) I rerecord one/some of my old songs
Option 2) I finish and record a song I've made about the anticipation of HRT
Option 3) I take on a sort of song writing challenge - maybe make it a thing that I give myself a songwriting challenge every month
Option 4) I record some of the songs I haven't already
Third transgender vlog: I am sharing my experiences of being on testosterone the first month (week 2-4.5). As the title says there might not be much happening yet but still I go over what things I have noticed plus some things that might be happening soon and what new fun tools I've found to play with.
Second transgender vlog: Here I will talking about my first week on hrt, my experiences and first expression using testosterone plus sharing my two first t-updates (at one day and one week on t)
I failed to be a daughter and I'll fail to be a son, I Am Here (2022, Mosræv)
Happy Transgender Awareness Week! I filmed this at the beginning of the week yet took a while to edit it so I am pleasantly surprised I still managed to get it out before the end of the week. This song was one of the first I managed to write fully about my experience as a transmasc nonbinary individual. I hope you like it

Lyrics:
I find the monsters under my bed
much more friendly than the voices in my head.
They're telling me that I am wrong:
Everything from my body to my voice.
But I keep holding on.
I try to stay afloat.
I am here.
I am here.
I am here.
I am, I am.
Sometimes I feel like I'm a ghost,
avoiding mirrors to protect my fragile host.
'Cause all reflections will reveal
is just how empty I feel inside.
I'm a liar, imposter, the list goes on.
I failed to be a daughter and I'll fail to be a son.
Just wanted to let you guys know there's a good chance I'll perform at my city's protest for Trans day of Remembrance. That will be the first "gig" in 8 years that is not part of an open mic or school performance so I am very excited.
Other news:
New demo will come tomorrow for Trans Week of visibility
New trans update will be recorded around November 22 when I (hopefully) start T
First transgender vlog; I will be speaking about my expectations about hopefully starting hormone replacement therapy w. testosterone next month and my future plans about testosterone updates.
First non-music related video to the channel and it is a Q&A originally meant for my other secondary channel (that I reblogged this from)
It was both exciting and scary to make the first sort of transgender related video. Hopefully there'll be more in the future since it looks like I can start testosterone by next month.

For today's entry here's the Q&A video as promised. It turned very rambly and a bit chaotic when I chose to dye my hair at the same time (and later try to make a mascara beard somewhat succesfully) yet in this way I guess it might seem more authentic. At least I hope so. Thank you to oak_leon (instagram), @j-restlessgeek and @c28hunter for the questions.
See the little green man dancing cha cha in the stance? I want to join his shirtless riot - Off My Chest (Mosræv, 2023)
I wrote this song as a silly response to käärijä's Paidaton Riehuja (translated to Shirtless Rampage) from the perspective of a transmasculine person pre-op longing for the freedom Jere have taking his shirt off.
Recorded 23/09/07 - Pret-T - Lyrics under the line

Lyrics: I want to be authentic.
I want to be real. I want not having to hide.
I want to feel masculine and at home in my body.
"Yet you look like a girl so it is best",
Society says:
"Be modest! Cover up your chest!"
Hey! Listen when I say:
"One day I will go shirtless somewhere out in public."
Hey! Listen when I say:
"I want to go shirtless without a second glance."
It's not like I want to look like the Marvel boys or the supermodels.
[I] just want the option of going torso commando.
Surgery will set me free.
So I can go around topless ilke Jere.
Hey! Listen when I say:
"One day I will go shirtless somewhere out in public."
Hey! Listen when I say:
"I want to shirtless without a second glance."
Like the little green man dancing cha cha in the stance.
I want to be comfortable.
I want to be confident.
See the little green man dancing cha cha in the stance?
I want to join his shirtless riot.
Riot.
Hey!
Hey!
Hey!
Hey! Listen when I say:
"One day I will go shirtless somewhere out in public."
Listen when I say:
Hey! Hear me say I want to go shirtless without a second glance."
On the day I last you the cardinal would sing it's last tune - Little Red Bird (2022)
Here's the song that made me want to create this tumblr blog - it is a song in part about Flapjack from the Owl House, in part about the irony of life and in full part about the passing of my grandmother last fall. Thank you to @j-restlessgeek for being so passionate about all my songs so I'd like to (also) shout out you here and thank you for your patience :3

Lyrics: On the day I lost you the cardinal would sing it's last tune.
At the hour of the witches fiction becomes reality.
I have to break a promise I never fully made.
'Cause I see you in the little red bird,
and I don't want to forget you.
Surburbia rolemodel you only sang the truth.
It was intimidating yet I admired you.
You were shining like the sun.
Now I hope you've found a place to belong among the stars up above.
I went on a nostalgia trip and made a cover of a song by one of my favourite bands a decade ago. This idea came about after me finding this old shirt I am wearing (cutting off the sleeves since they were too worn) and also found the old chord sheet I'd gotten from the band to perform this song at an open mic event in 2015.
I hope you enjoy
The band if you are interested is called A Road to Damascus
