The final project of 2022 is complete! Here are a few captures from the @pacific_beacon roof deck and from ground level of the “Bravo Zulu” basketball court created for the @usnavy through @project_backboard . . . The mural depicts a ship cruising out to sea proudly displaying the Bravo Zulu nautical flags. Included are visuals of Point Loma, the Coronado Bridge, and a beautiful @sandiego sunset. Visuals of panels #27,#28 and #29 from the 176 foot "Geo #98" mural created for the @sandiegomuseumofart in 2019. The mural in it's entirety is the largest solo work to date in the history of the SDMA. A selection of panels are currently featured throughout @portovistahotel in the @littleitalysd neighborhood of @sandiego . A combination of moments and places from Tony’s upbringing in the South Bronx that draws inspiration from movies such as Beat Street, Wild Style, Warriors and Escape the Bronx. B-boys and B-girls from different crews are on display in their finest urban armor ready to battle each other in fly fashion, breakdancing, graffiti writing, emceeing and DJ skills! Drawing from the energy of the extremely creative borough of The Bronx and its cultural response to a broken and fractured moment of time, in which they persevered through extreme burning and destruction throughout the city.  Hip Hop, thrash rock, fantasy art, graffiti and comic books are all visual influences that have heavily inspired this series.
