Todays Misplacd Mondays entry comes from our newest Marketing Intern Justine.

Music is my drug of choice. It is capable of making us feel, see, think, hear, and love everything about the world just a little bit differently. It has the powe...r to change your mood, make your troubles disappear, and open your eyes to entirely new possibilities. My favourite thing about music is the way that each song can tell a story, and how each of the stories it creates are unique to the individual listening. 

This video by Arcade Fire is the perfect example. It's from their album "The Suburbs" (a fantastic piece of work) that inspired the filmmaker Spike Jonze to create an entire short film called "Scenes From The Suburbs" based on the album. This video uses clips from the movie and after seeing it once I knew I HAD to get my hands on this film. It pulled me in and refused to let go.

It encompasses exactly what we try to do here at Misplacd Frams, which is tell an unforgettable story based on the complex simplicity of the songs the artists we work with bring forth. Every music video and commercial is in its own way a short film. It's where we introduce you to a new world, whether it be for 5 minutes, or just 30 seconds. And it's a world we hope changes your perspective, even if only for a moment.
