For flowering plants, prune after the flowering season is over. 🌳Shaping-up a plant: Pinching-off the tip of a branch allows several branches to develop from the nodes below. This develops a more bushy and dense growth. 🥀Dead-heading flowers: Pinch off the spent flowers for more profuse blooming. 🌱FEED THE SOIL: FERTILIZATION🌱 Feed the soil with plenty of compost and well-aged manure as plants pull out nutrients from the soil to grow. Therefore, it is of utmost importance that nutrients are constantly replenished into the soil. I mostly used the organic compost prepared at home or my alternative to this is Seaweed Solution (Premium Liquid Seaweed by Organic Dews) WHAT IS SEAWEED SOLUTION? It is a form of algae that grows in marine systems-oceans, seas. The organic compost and seaweed solution work in the same manner. These are just the organic matter that are rich in nutrients and as they are added in water the microbes starts decomposing it making the nutrients available for plants. WHEN TO FERTILIZE? Every two months. METHOD: SOIL: Add 3ml of seaweed solution to 1 litre of water and mix it well. (the quantity of solution will increase in the same proportion as per the water) Pour the above mixture slowly into the soil till the water starts coming out from the drainage holes. FOLIAGE: Add 1ml of seaweed solution to 1 litre of water and mix it well. Sprinkle this on the leaves. BENEFITS: Enhances seed germination. Promotes balance growth of plants. Boots the immunity and diseases resistance.
