Take a moment

Think about the crap that your favorite bands have been through. They write songs about it and teach us how to safely deal with it. They can give you strength to carry on even though the bullies never leave you alone. They can calm down when you are having an anxiety attack or panic attack. They can fight off the demons that are raging a war inside your head. They can remind you not to bleed. They can talk you like many friends can’t. They can block out the world and bring you peace. They can teach you how to be the bigger person. So take a moment and think about all the many things that they have done for you and thank them for it. What’s your favorite band(s)?
