Snowflakes appeared out of the blue, like they always do

And christmas lights,

and passing times,

and times to pass,

and to breathe,

and to let out the grief

And moments of joy,

Of emotion, Of sorrow,

Of headaches and pain

Doodles in the back of my notebook

Doodles in the back of my hands

Countless visitations

Visions of joy

People asking people

Chances of eating

A dish and buffet

I was sick one morning

A night I mean instead

I missed the lights

Behind my window pane

Like when we were little

Watching in trance

Yellow, and white

The feeling it brings

Can’t compare

I wanted to dance

Around the tree

In my cute dress

Around my momma

Open the gifts

Melancholy hits me
