it's just like a key part of remus' character that he does not feel accepted by society. he, in his truest form (not as the wolf but as a wizard who is a werewolf), is not allowed in wizarding society. he is not a confident man, and when people like him he doesn't trust it. maybe he was well liked at hogwarts, but he did not feel that way.

every time someone has the audacity to draw remus as "conventionally good looking" i feel such a primal urge to draw him opposite. i want him with a big nose, and freckles, and a goofy grin with crooked teeth, too long for his body, ears that get red when hes embarrassed, lips too thin for his face, bushy eyebrows.
