what if i made it angsty instead.

what if iceman, retired 80s/90s rockstar turned indie record label owner, releases a documentary. what if it's not about him. what if the documentary is cut through with videos from an old tape, made by one of his contemporaries who died at 27. what if maverick's final show was one he knew he'd never truly get to perform, so instead he played his heart out to a camera wishing it was someone, anyone. what if that camera ended up buried in junk boxes until one person - his person, the person that concert was dedicated to - found it again. what if maverick played, in secret, the story of their love and how hiding it killed him, figuratively and literally. what if iceman finally had the opportunity to do what maverick died for.
