Laios is a struggling restaurant worker with big dreams. Marcille is a permanently stressed student who needs to make money. The last thing these two expect is to be living together in rainy Manchester in a slightly ramshackle house- never mind the fact that their lives are more bound together than they could have imagined.

Will their newfound friendship (citation needed) lead to both of them having a happy ending with those they love most? Or will their inability to be at all normal create a disaster of terrible, terrible proportions?

(OR: A modern DunMeshi AU set in Britain where Laios and Marcille try their hardest to wingman each other to varying success, all whilst Laios learns how to cook)

Don't often write drabbles, but here's one I made earlier. Been finally playing more OT2 (3 out of 8 routes down and all side quests I can feasibly do!), and this hit me like a sack of bricks. I've always been a sucker for the reserved and snarky one and the overactive and mildly dumb one trope since forever; I expected a twist but not outright that! Can't wait to play more.

partitio is such a funny merchant character. octopath 2 got me with this one. he's like five seconds away from going full communist but he never realizes. despite constantly talking about wanting to share resources and start a co-op he says things like ohoho!!! I smell a business opportunity!!! the business opportunity is him giving people money no questions asked because they looked kind of sad.

He keeps chasing "the smell of commerce" but if you asked him what "commerce" is he'd go "commerce is when you have two apples and you give a stranger one and then you have a friend"
