and if you make it through all of that ^ and crave more, the rest of Forbidden Love and the first few chapters of the sequel, A Thousand Years, are up on FFN. i started the process of editing/rewriting bits of FL to transfer to ao3 but again, life has the audacity. if you do set out on the arduous journey that is Forbidden Love, please do take the author’s note to heart. a baby wrote that and it shows through well passed the halfway mark. and that baby hasn’t finished the sequel. 😮‍💨💀 @wild-lavender-rose

i haven’t written/posted anything recently, life has been in the way sadly. but you can find a small collection of my things on ao3. i’m an extremely ambitious planner/outliner and have a brain full of ideas that might never make it onto a page but the more of us that surface, the better chance these WIPs become reality. ♥️😇

A's lips softly brushing against B's for the first time, their eyes still closed as they slowly pull away to savour the feeling

A snaking their arms around B's waist and laying their head in the crook of B's neck, whispering a soft 'hello' into their ear

Both of them slowly swaying back and forth in the kitchen at midnight without any music playing

fuck it, I'm romanticizing underrated ao3 works now. 8,000 word fics with only 13 kudos, even after 5 months. multi-chaptered works with only 11 comments from the same 3 people and the author themself. incredibly specific works featuring OC's mingling with canon characters that only get 5 kudos. rare-pair fics. gift works that are literally ONLY for the receiver.

"Silly human," the demon says, "why do you continue to love when you know that you will only get hurt?"

"Humans cannot help but love," she responds ruefully, even as the flames begin licking her feet.

Red eyes meet hers.
