Things I’ve learned while reading the Bridgerton series:

Long malaria happens to characters that visit anywhere that is not England but no “rakes” have syphilis.

While the research I have done on this time period calls this into question, don’t bother me as I decide to suspend disbelief long enough to finish the series.
