I had this dream where I was about to take an examination(I also don’t know what exam was that). It was a looking back of my college life that I was living in the dormitory and yet not taking my stuffs at school seriously. I managed to pack(on this part of the dream, I just left my bags and when I was about to take it, it was already opened and I didn’t know what was stolen since people came and the bags were there with them) my things at home and went straight to our classroom where we’ll be having our exam. Eventually the professor also came early and prepared everything, I was there for a short time and did some errands outside since it was too early. What happened next was that there came a feeling inside of me that will not take the exam anymore because I was guilty of being late for 20minutes. I passed two persons(one riding his motorcycle and a lady taking to him) and saw people who were outside the classroom. I’ve heard that two students were not able to take the exam. Then I just passed the classroom and took my stuffs and overheard my classmates that the exam was open notes. I was then confused and sure that if I’ll take the exam, I’ll still be able to do it and manage to perfect it. Right there, I’ve decided to take the exam and ran immediately to my professor who was inside the classroom. Then I woke up realizing that:
1. I was the one causing delay to my blessings.
2. The Flesh should never be pleased. This should be disciplined!
3. Then discipline yourself not to entertain distractions.
4. Focus why you were in that situation. I know, I was the first to came because I’m sure I can ace the exam. BUT lost my opportunity for 20 minutes. Got a lot in mind that I should have shared in those moment.
In conclusion;
Let go of your independence and rely on God. It was all about the school of the Holy Spirit. The test was given for your advantage and yet you manage to delay things. Now that you see it clearly, decide! NOW! I repeat cy, NOW! to change the course of your life and focus on the things of the Lord.
