An eldritch themed horror game concept in which you explore the land surrounding your recently departed grandfather’s wood cabin.

Bounty character: Atior'zhurh, Ati for short. A mysterious merchant of an ancient primordial race. She has a creature in her hat that she feeds money which then spits out a random item of equal value. Many of the objects she carries are purchases made by customers that they didn’t find satisfactory

Hello! I wanted to ask about character design and concept art methodologies. What do you do or what methodology do you recommend?

I tend to approach design by starting with one of 3 aspects: Story, form, or function. Those basically break down to the story (duh), the body type/silhouette I have in mind I'd like to achieve, or how it would work in the context of its world. Once I have one point down I'll start to develop the other two factors around it through my thumbnails. Then just move forward from there.

Bounty character:

Pompo and Reaper. Pompo is just a dog, in space. But Reaper on the other hand is a hologhost. Unlike most hologhosts Reaper is able to interact with the world, fulfilling whatever desires Pompo may have. If Pompo wants a snack then he’ll get it for him, and if Pompo is threatened he’ll eliminate the threat.

A wip character for Bounty Vreka, an escaped convicted that’s stuck trying to remove her limiter collar. Though she’s not alone, the collars houses a prison AI named Ball that constantly tells her to return to her cell and that she’s breaking prison rules. She hates it.
