Reasons why Haruhi (Ouran Host Club) is one of my favorite MCs:

There's a lot more to it like how she's genuinely kind and considerate, always thinks about other people (especially her dad), and is doing her best without stressing out too much on it... Haruhi can also cut to the heart of any problem or issue - intentionally or not.

But Haruhi's reactions to all the chaos is hilarious and perfect.

You know what's surprisingly hard to find? A small handful of dried flowers for craftproject purposes.

I can find boxes and bulk supplies (by color). I can find entire bouquets. But... not a tiny handful. I could get the bulk amounts but outside of this one little project I can't think of anything else I'd need them for.

Wonder how incredibly awkward it'd be to walk into a flowershop and go "hi I just want a couple flowers please?" and press them myself. I know it'd take a couple weeks for them to dry out... and making the risen project will only take a few days after. In theory it'd be ready in time.

All I'm going to say without spoilers?

As someone who's never read the comics before but is passingly familiar with Sandman, it's a hell of a ride. They really do a good job of hooking you with one episode but fingers crossed on the others. Pacing was fine, a little flashback-y at spots but overall good. Special effects were insane but I've heard that's true of Good Omens too. Costumes were good. Acting was solid. Characters phrased things weirdly sometimes but that could be just me.

Plot? Solid. A little fast-paced in some respects but they were setting things up for the show and every early season 1 episode I've seen has had growing pains like that. A lot of mysteries and things left unexplained, a lot of things to leave assumptions to the viewer, and... the cliff-hanger raises questions.

So yeah good job.

I went to see the SpyXFamily film today.

Avoiding blatant spoilers, it's a decent one-off adventure that sadly has no real influence on the rest of the plot (as expected). I thought it was going to be a Christmas Adventure but nope it was more of a tourist trap mountainous town which they explored for like 3 hours tops outside of having dinner. I've seen setups like that around where I live during Christmas which explains why I thought it was Christmas. Complete with ferris wheel and small kiddy train ride (although our easy kiddy ride is a carousel).

They had the Devilman Crybaby studio work on it which I can only assume was one of two very specific fight scenes. If it turns out to have been the imagination sequence I don't know how to feel about that. But honestly? The whole family needed a hug.

So many questions raised by Type F though. And the whole situation between Yor and Loid should've had some influence on the relationship going forward but unless they directly reference it in the anime...

But whatever that dessert was it looked so good. Like some kind of lemon tart or custard pie topped with meringue? But loaded with dried fruit and flowers.

I'm not including Pokemon Mystery Dungeon games as their evil teams are only three guys not an organization. Team Debonairs technically is a different group but they're Dim Sun post-game. And Great Rocket is not Rocket.

So if my Crisis Core Zack Fair is a himbo who regularly forgets to cure poison and just tanks it through multiple missions (in theory this could mean he's constantly poisoned for weeks straight)...

...my Tears of the Kingdom Link is a high-intelligence / low-wisdom clumsy fool who keeps falling off of platforms/vehicles and forgets what can/can't work. He can walk along the metal rails! He just can't stay on platforms.

Although he has been underneath multiple platforms... and fallen off of those but mostly the floating dragon platforms.
