idk if it was ig reels or tiktok where i saw it but i saw an edit of nct dream jaemin and enhypen sunghoon ice skating and my brain started glitching fr because imagine hockey player jaemin x figure skater reader x figure skater sunghoon au where you and jaemin have been best friends since like diapers and he's always been secretly in love with you ever since he realized that his little "crush" on you from middle school might've been more than just a silly little crush. so when you guys started high school and you told your parents you wanted to start figure skating, jaemin overheard his mom talking about it after she came home from having lunch with your mom and so he asked jeno who was planning on joining the school's hockey team when tryouts were so he could tryout too because he knew that if you started figure skating you probably wouldn't have a lot of time to spend with him anymore but if he joins the hockey team (who practices at the same ice rink as the local figure skating team) then he'd be able to see you more. and then now here is where figure skater sunghoon comes in and becomes mr. steal yo girl. sunghoon is also on the figure skating team and of course since there aren't many guys who are on the team, sunghoon has most of the attention of the girls both on the team and even girls from the neighboring schools; except you of course. unlike the other girls, you're more focused on practicing to really pay much attention to him. there are a few occurences tho where you guys do talk, but it's nothing more than a "hi, good work out there" while you're both on your break and bump into each other by the vending machine. these interactions don't really mean too much to you toher than a friendly encounter. however, of course sunghoon seeing that you have almost no interest in him compared to the other girls makes him a little more intrigued and attracted towards you. so obv he develops a crush on you and now you got two boys lowkey but highkey in love with you.

You were in your dorm studying for your midterms, when your phone beeped and a notification popped up on the screen. You picked up your phone and looked at the notification to see that you had a new message from Matthew; which was weird because knowing that boy he should already be fast asleep by now.

Matthew: Hey, are you still awake?"

As you started typing out a response, Matthew had beat you to it by sending another text.

Matthew: Can I come over? I can't sleep.

You: Matthew, it's literally almost one in the morning.

Matthew: I know but I can't sleep. Can I please come over?

You: Fine.

After a couple of minutes, you heard a soft knock on your door. You set your pen down and got up from your spot at your desk to open the door for Matthew.

"Matthew, what are you doing here?" You said as you sat down on your bed next to him.

Matthew was quiet for a moment as he tried to figure out exactly how to express this thoughts and emotions to you without it sounding weird but what came out of his mouth was enough to make him want to throw himself out your window and run away forever, "I know we've been friends for a while but lately whenever I'm around you I get super nervous and get this weird feeling in my stomach, so I'm either in love with you or allergic to you and I don't know which is worse."

You blinked a few times as you tried to process just exactly what Matthew had just blurted out of his mouth.

"I'm sorry, that just sounded so weird and stupid. I don't know why I said that. Please just forget everything I said and I'll just be on my way out-" He said as he frantically tried to get up to run away but you stopped him.

"Matthew," you said as you quickly grabbed his wrist and pulled him back down to sit on your bed, "First of all, I don't think it's physically or scientifically possible for you to be allergic to me. Which means you're probably in love with me..."

When he noticed that you still had a straight face on, he quickly got up again to prepare to run away and never come back, "Agan. Forget I even said anything-"

"Hold on, I wasn't finished," you said as you pulled him back down, "If it makes you feel better, I think you're kinda cute too."

You literally broke him. He blinked twice and even pinched his cheek to make sure he wasn't dreaming.

"Y-you what?"

"You heard me," you said as you gave him a soft smile and Matthew started to get those fuzzy feelings in his stomach again but this time his head felt like it was spinning too.

"W-would it be okay if I asked you out?" he didn't know why but he felt like he was about to throw up because he was so nervous about what your answer would be. What if you were just messing with him? What if you say no? Is he moving you too fast? Should he have waited to ask you that?

His worries were instantly shot down when you rested your hands on top of his and gave him another smile, "I'd love to."

He's going to kill me, you thought to yourself as you looked at the sad scattered pieces of wood and wires on the floor that used to be Taerae's most prized possesion (other than you of course).

That guitar meant so much to him. When you guys were in high school, he would work part-time at the BBQ restaurant a few blocks away from your school as well as running small errands for the elders in your guys' neighborhood to raise money to buy his dream guitar. It wasn't just his dream guitar but it was also his lucky guitar. He had won your school's end of the year talent show with it; three years in a row. It was the guitar he used to ask you out your third year, despite your friends telling him that you didn't like those kind of cheesy gestures; you agreed because 1. you kind of had a crush on him already and 2. that was his third time trying to ask you out and if you made him wait to ask you out a fourth time he probably would have gone crazy (literally). And this guitar was the one he used when he had auditioned for the new music competition show; which he ended up winning and got signed under one of the biggest music labels in the country.

Before you even had time to figure out what to do, you heard the pin to your door being tapped in and the door clicking open. That plus the sound of the door closing shut and shoes being shuffled was enough to let you know that you were in trouble.

"Fuck," you muttered to yourself as you quickly shuffled around the living room to find something to try to cover up the mess on the floor.

"Y/N? Are you home?" Taerae asked as he walked towards the living room with his backpack hanging off one shoulder and a plastic bag hanging from his other arm.

"Babe, you're home!" You exclaimed as you quickly stood in front of him in attempt to cover up the awkward lump on the floor.

He raised an eyebrow at you as he moved to try to look behind you, "You're acting weird... What's gotten into you today?"

"Nothing," you squeaked as you continued to try to block him from seeing what was going on.

"I don't believe you. Move," he said as he softly pushed you aside and looked around the living room until his eyes landed on the awkard lump on the floor, "What are you hiding, missy?"

"Pleasedon'tbemad," you said as Taerae pulled the blanket up to reveal what you were trying to hide from him.

He literally had no words. He couldn't believe his eyes.

"I'm so sorry," you started as Taerae stood there in shock, "I don't know what happened. I was trying to clean around the living room a little before you came home and I didn't even notice it was there. I know how much this guitar meant to you and I feel so bad-"

"Stop," he said as you quickly straightened up and closed your mouth before another word slipped out, "It's fine."

"Taerae..."

He turned to you and you could tell he really was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt by giving you a small smile but deep down inside you knew he was pretty upset, "Y/N, it's fine don't worry about it. It's just a guitar."

"You just called me by my government name, it's not fine."

He just let out a small laugh, "I'm sorry. Okay, it's not fine but I mean I'll get over it. What's important is that you're okay. Are you okay? Did you get hurt anywhere?" He grabbed both of your shoulders as he searched your face and body to see if there was any cuts or bruises.

"I'm fine. But are you sure you're going to be okay? This guitar meant a lot to you..."

"But you are even more important to me," he said as he placed a soft kiss to the top of your head before pulling you into a hug.

You woke up to the smell of something burning. You lifted your head a little and through half-lidded eyes looked around the room to see that not only was there a scent of something burning but your boyfriend was also missing from his spot on the bed.

"Matthew?" You exclaimed as you quickly got off the bed and went straight to the kitchen to see what was going on.

When you got there you saw two burnt pieces of toast peeking out of the toaster and your boyfriend who was supposed to be watching it sleeping on one of the counter stools with his face on the countertop.

You let out a small laugh as you got closer to him and noticed the small line of drool slowly escaping his mouth and onto the coutnertop.

"Of course you fell asleep again..." you said as you quickly walked to the other side of the coutner to take the burnt toast out from the toaster and onto a plate.

Matthew quickly sat up at the sound of the plate hitting the countertop, "I'm awake!"

You let out another laugh as Matthew gave you a small apologetic smile when he saw you holding out the burnt piece of toast in front of him.

"I'm sorry," he pouted as he quickly got off from his seat and over towards you, "I wanted to wake up early to cook you breakfast since you're always doing it for me, but I guess I'm just a little too sleepy this morning."

"When are you ever not sleepy?"

"Valid point," he said as he let out a small giggle before wrapping his arms around your waist to pull you closer, "I'm sorry, love. I think from now on I should just let you do it."

"Yeah, otherwise we're going to have to find a new place to stay because maybe next time you'll actually accidentally burn the place down," you teased as you leaned up to give him a quick peck before wiggling out of his grip to start preparing breakfast for the both of you.

He leaned down to place a kiss to the top of your head before turning you back around to your original position as he laid his head on your shoulder and you both looked into the mirror in front of you, "I was just so amazed at how extremely lucky I am to have such a beautiful girlfriend like you."

"Oh really? Even with no makeup?"

"Especially with no makeup," he said as he placed a soft kiss to you cheek before grabbing a makeup remover wipe from your container and turning your seat around to face him, "Y/N, you are truly one of the most gorgeous things I have ever seen."

"Dino..."

"Even if you don't think so, everything about you is beautiful to me," he said as he started softly wiping the pink eyeshadow from your eyelids, placing a soft kiss to each one when he was done, "Your little beauty mark on the corner of your eye. The scar on your forehead that you got in high school. Your faint freckles. Your little baby hairs that only show when you have your bangs up. All of those things may bother you, but if I'm being honest those are the things I find so fucking beautiful."

"Stop, you're going to make me cry." You joked as you let out a small laugh while trying to keep the tears from falling out.

Dino noticed the single tear drop failing to stay inside and he quickly brought his thumb up to wipe it away before holding your face in his hands, "I'm being serious, Y/N. I'm not going to stop you from doing something that's going to make you comfortable, but if it was up to me I would never want you to hide all those things under any makeup."

The smile on Dino's face grew wider and wider the longer he looked at your face, "God, you are so fucking beautiful it's driving me insane. How did I ever get so lucky?"

"I love you," you said as you cupped his face in your hands and brought him closer to you and connected your lips.

"I love you too, my gorgeous gorgeous girl," Dino said when you pulled away and he rested his forehead against yours.
