It’s really nice to see the Thomas Barrow fandom thriving here. Obviously I’m a newbie, and I’m curious to know more about how you guys first came to like Thomas as a character (aka when “the evil one” became “HIM!!!”). So, if I may ask:
Notes: names for non-recurring characters are not used here; episodes are numbered according to ITV/Netflix version
Looking forward to seeing the results. I hope I’ll get surprised! Please reblog for larger sample size. Thanks!

I wonder what music Thomas would listen to.
The Smiths, obviously. Roxy Music? Echo and The Bunnymen? Bowie? For sure. I mean, all the 80s new wave.
i’ve come to the conclusion that thomas barrow would’ve loved the smiths and their sad bastard songs

You know, when you talk like that, I almost believe you.
I’ve always thought that in his lowest moments in S6, Thomas might recall what Edward said to him when they first met:
“It doesn’t help me to be lied to, you know. I’m finished. And I’d rather face it than dodge it.”
Then he did what Edward once did to himself. Because (he thought) he realised all the time he’s been lying to himself about how life would become better one day and the world could not defeat him. He might be wrong all along. Too wrong about the reality of the world and of himself.
So eventually he stopped believing anymore. Just as Edward never did.
Not even for him.

Thomas being curled up in a ball outside in the rain crying by himself is so sad it’s like one of the saddest things to happen in this show and people fucking die and a war happens in this show so

I have fallen from the sky,
Fallen to the ground,
I am the angel of sadness,
Angel of lost hopes,
Angel of lost dreams,
I am the fallen angel,
Fear me not,
I am here for reason,
That reason is to have a second chance in life.
- Fallen Angel, Jennifer Rondeau
“I am not foul.”
