Cradling my sisters baby

I wonder how time flashed so fast

Just yesterday she was doing acid with her friends

And the day before that

She was dropping me on my head 

I was too chunky 

For her little hands

Now I am too skinny

For my doctor's approval 

I seek the answers

Within this haunted cathedral 

Only to realize 

I am like a monk 

Within a euphoric drug infested party

Residing with eastern traditions 

More than the corrupt dichotomy

Currently in front of me

Saints who are truly the sinners

Self proclaimed sinners 

Who care more for our worlds health

When did this switch happen

Love is an initiation 

As a little girl I read fan fiction They were not real books  according to the scholars I sat next to

But it fed the urge for knowledge within me more than an institutionalized place of learning ever could

It fed my lust for love Something right out of a little girls reach

The joke is on them I have since discovered the truth

Love is an initiation  into the world of secret knowledge

Something those herd animals will not find at least not in this lifetime

gray matter seared by a piercing plea reverb weaves through tender stitches why must she yearn with such desperation to tear apart her seams, giving in to the itches

I do not think you understand
