toxic parents begone in 2020

#⚠️ BIG negative nd uglie ass rant ahead bewarned ⚠️ #me talking abt how my dad is disappointed in me no matter what i do rlly...hit me #my mom isnt a great parent either nd she still constantly invalidates me #my mom has a drinking problem and..i've developed ptsd bc of it #she's been mentally (and physically) abusive towards me (mostly mentally) for over half my life #like..she was drinking tonight nd...i got screamed at a lot simply bc for my own sanity i needed her to keep her distance #my aunt ganged up on me too nd was telling me my mom was having problems bc of ME nd that i should just shut up #nd i just started sobbing on the way home #like just her drinking triggers me bc u can just. tell ?? her voice changes nd u just kno nd...god #nd when i try nd talk abt these situations w her when she's sober she gets mad at me and tells me im being over dramatic #nd yells at me nd just buries everything i say instantly #i had a huge episode bc of what happened tonight nd i msged my bff nd her and her gf literally got on skype w me #nd started looking at all the available apartments around #i started fucking sobbing bc they're not even joking they're saving all of their money to get one #my bff said there's not even really a MAYBE she was like 'we ARE moving in together nd thats it.' #nd im sorry this is so negative guys #i usually dont talk abt stuff like this but....toxic parents !!! another year, another chance to say “i’m in love with im changkyun”.

in all seriousness though, 2019 has probably been my best and worst year ever. i’ve met amazing people, reconnected with old friends, fulfilled some personal goals and managed to learn a lot more about myself. however, i’ve also been through so many hardships, and i was even close to giving up on a lot of things i set myself out to do due to fear. it was a roller coaster of emotions, but i wouldn’t have had it any other way, because it has been a year that has allowed me to shape myself into the person i am today, and gave me insight on the things i need to improve about myself in order to become even better. 

2020 will be a year of revelations, be them positive or negative, and i trust that it will be a year that will benefit the Good and punish the Bad. i have high hopes for this year, and i will work extra hard to achieve everything i set myself out to do, and i’m wishing that all of you reading this find it in yourselves to muster the courage and strength to reach for the stars!

welcome to yoonqiful’s first follow forever! I reached 1K followers a little while ago, and I couldn’t have been more happier. I created this blog a little over a year ago because I wanted to create content and honestly get better with making gifs.
