Revising for my quantum computing module which I am very behind on. Luckily, I only have three exams this year. I've gone home for the holiday, and it's so nice to be able to enjoy my mother's cooking while preparing for exams. However, I will have to go back to uni early to finish off and submit my thesis.

I am waiting for the return of my simulation results from a supercomputer. Having spent three months on this simulation already, I really hope it will work. I will try to attend all of my lectures next week as it’s the last week of teaching. I have been skipping so many classes just to focus on my project work. I really need to catch up now!

I got invited to a PhD interview today! I was so surprised when I opened the email, because I was convinced I would get rejected straight away. I’ll try my best and see what happens next. I am currently behind on a few modules, especially the quantum computing module, which I will really need to catch up on.

What a magical day! It felt like spring was here already. I feel very grateful to have the student life I have now. Despite of the stress of my physics project and seemingly pointless job applications, my friends at uni really help me to feel balanced. I went to a bookstore in town and picked up a book as a birthday present for a friend.

It feels good to be back at uni again. I’ve seen flocks of freshers aimlessly wandering around the streets trying to figure directions out all week.

My remote internship is also coming to an end this week, which is sad as I will miss the team a lot. Will need to squeeze in some time to do work for my master project before term properly starts.
