Thank you, thank you, for Harry’s birthday present! It was his favourite by far. One year old and already zooming along on a toy broomstick, he looked so pleased with himself, I’m enclosing a picture so you can see. You know it only rises about two feet off the ground, but he nearly killed the cat and he smashed a horrible vase Petunia sent me for Christmas (no complaints there). Of course, James thought it was so funny, says he’s going to be a great Quidditch player, but we’ve had to pack away all the ornaments and make sure we don’t take our eyes off him when he gets going. | Lily’s letter to Sirius

“Yes thank you Sirius”

I started to draw a serious portrait of the “Potter wedding w/ Sirius” picture from book three, but then I just got sad so I made it goofy.

Happy Galentine’s Day, my Galentine’s Sam (aka @alrightginger). 

He was trying very hard to not look over at her again, feeling that if he did so he wouldn’t be able to look away, but it was very hard having her close finally. He felt like he had forgotten how to blink. How to look at something that wasn’t Lily normally. How many times was he supposed to blink a minute? He couldn’t remember, and his eyes were getting horribly dry, and then suddenly he was blinking too much.
