🌸BOOK📚REVIEW🌸 ⚜️Synopsis Quinn and Graham meet in the most peculiar of situations and once they get over that they give each other a chance and fall in love. Years later, now married, they have been struggling to keep their relationship afloat. The main issues that surrounds their marriage has been building up over the years and Quinn although still loves Graham feels like she might need to let him go in order for him to be happy and for her to have lift the weight over her shoulders of trying to make a family. The book also goes back to when they met and through the relationship that seem to withstand all. ⚜️Review I really love this book, it's my first Colleen Hoover book and I wanted to start with one that was not as popular to see if I liked her style and she just knows how to tug at my heartstrings. I was listening to the audiobook at the supermarket and I had to pause for a few minutes to listen and take in what was happening and keep me from crying. What I liked most is that the relationship was real, we all have that honeymoon face where we feel like we are invincible but a lot don't survive their first “category 5” moments or even worst we are going through one and we don't ask for help. This was great and the ending was devastatingly good. Just comes to show how important communication is in any relationship. #booksbooksbooks📚 #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #booklover #bookblogger #bookblog #bookreviews #bookwormsunite #bookwormsofinstagram #bookphotograph #readingtime #readingisfun #loveofbooks #bookthings #audiobook #audiobooklove #audiobookscount#storytel https://www.instagram.com/p/CPpYWhyrhct/?utm_medium=tumblr

BOOK 🌷 REVIEW 🌼This book is about two girls around the same age, Camino lives in Dominican Republic and Yahaira in New York. They are both struck by the news of a plane crash, where their father dies. Now, both girls have to deal with the emotional ramification that comes with grief. Camino is worried about her safety and her future and Yahaira worries about her mother and the broken relationship she couldn't mend before her fathers death. In addition to all of this, the girls learn about each other and how their papá lived two different lives. 🌼Again, this author does a beautiful job in describing latin families, our process of grief and how in face of tragedy we unite. The struggle of each of these girls and the image that they each have of their father is unique, they are strong independent girls that were raised to be more and you can see how they go through their grief process, disappointment. They lose a parent and gain a sister. Elizabeth Acevedo, is great in her audiobooks because like her words she exudes emotion and makes you feel everything the characters feel even if you have not lived through a similar experience. It's great how she sheds a light on a little known tragedy and gives those families a voice. Overall, a great book written in verse and a lot of sentiment, totally recommended. #booksbooksbooks📚 #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #booklover #bookblogger #bookblog #bookreviews #bookwormsunite #bookwormsofinstagram #bookphotograph #readingtime #readingisfun #loveofbooks #bookthings #audiobook #audiobooklove #audiobooksofinstagram #audiobooklover https://www.instagram.com/p/CPZjS-NL_Vu/?utm_medium=tumblr

🌹BOOK REVIEW 🌹 The twisted tale of Beauty and the Beast, this tells the start of the story as we know it with the added perspective in a different timeline where Belle's parents meet. This is because the twist here is What if Belle's mother cursed the Beast? On the other hand, Belle all grown up goes to save her father from the Beast by taking his place in the enchanted castle and later learns that the curse was done by her own mother that she doesn't remember quite well. 🌹I am a big fan of Beauty and the Beast, she is one of my favorite princesses so I was very excited to read this from the start. I wasn't disappointed, since it begins with Maurice and Rosalind's story. It's already giving you information you didn't know and keeps you wondering what happened and how everything came to be. Also it has the element of mystery to know about Belle’s mother and how they were going to break the curse. I liked that the author didn't use a lot of the original story to fill in the pages but rather used just the beginning as a base and alternate with Rosalind and Maurice’s story for the first part of it, from there it's all very original. It keeps you guessing on who is the bad guy and how it will all come together, the characters had the same fun charm as in the movie, Belle goes from an oddball to a leader and the Beast learns to be kind and benevolent with his people. We do have a happy ending but not as we would guess. I loved it very much. #booksbooksbooks📚 #disneybooks #beautyandthebeast #retelling #bookstagram #bookbloggers #bookreviews #bookishphotography #bookish #bookworld #bookwormsunite #bookloversunite #bookphotograph #bookloversalways https://www.instagram.com/p/CPU8CIPruab/?utm_medium=tumblr

BOOK🌼REVIEW Bear boy by @justinbarkertv This book is a YA memoir, our author is also the protagonist. Tells us the story of how at a young age he became an animal activist and found himself living in his own coming-of-age story. Justin is a boy who is sensitive and has problems connecting with others at school and at home, he is bullied and he feels like his family does not understand him. So, he usually keeps his head down but one day, he finds inspiration in a book where he acquires motivation and passion to give voice to those who don't have one, animals. He vigorously researches ways to help, to make a difference and he starts slow by being vegetarian, then he looks in the zoo’s conditions and from there he finds direction towards something bigger. In his fight to help animals, he not only discovers his own voice but his true value. Opinion 💫 A beautiful memoir of self-love, passion, dedication, tenacity and identity. It's a pretty straightforward plot, his writing style is simple but with so much emotion that it is perfect for young readers to be captivated and encouraged to speak up. It's a short read but with a lot of impact, he gives us hard facts, humor and sentiment. In other words, this book is excellent, something I would totally recommend and can't wait to share with my own boys. *Thank you NetGalley and Publisher for giving me an electronic copy in exchange for my honest review* #bearboybook #ebooks #booksbooksbooks📚 #bookblogger #bookish #bookaddictions #beautifulbooks #books #authorsofig #booklover #authors #bookcommunity #bookwormforlife #booknerdlife #booklove #bibliophile #bookphotographer #bookslover #bookaholicgirl #booksofinstragram #bookreviewers #bookreviewblog https://www.instagram.com/p/CPPNC8FL_vt/?utm_medium=tumblr

🌼This book is a twisted spin of the story of Jane Eyre, still dark but with a dash of paranormal, ok, a lot of paranormal. Jane Eyre is an orphan that has lived in an institute with other girls and she has a special gift, she can see ghosts but she keeps it a secret because this has only gotten her in trouble before. Charlotte Bronte is Jane ́s friend and a writer that wishes for adventure more than anything to expand upon the stories that she writes. Alexander Blackwood is an agent of the Society for the Relocation of Wayward Spirits that investigates all the supernatural and is also able to see ghosts. He spots Jane at a pub where she is trying to communicate with a ghost that has been disrupting the bar and he realizes that she is not only a seer but a beacon and she can be an attribute to the Society. Jane is hired a governess at Thornfield hall and she sees this as an opportunity to escape from Mr.Blackwood ́s insistence. Charlotte, as curious as she is and eager for adventure, tells Alexander that she knows where to find Jane and she can convince her to join the society. So, they go on this adventure to find Jane but get in more trouble than they bargained for. 🌼I really liked it although I felt this one had a slow start, besides the ghost element I was not intrigued by this book but when more mystery was introduced I was surely invested. The characters were fun and adding Charlotte to her own story was added great value to it. Charlotte was witty and determined, she was one of my favorites, along with Helen (Jane’s ghost friend), which gave comedic relief to tense situations. 🌼The books had mystery, ghosts, romance and comedy. The point of view was divided between Jane, Charlotte and Alexander and I think the authors did a really good job at making each POV meaningful and helped weave together the whole story. 🎧Listened this audiobook in storytel.com app #booksbooksbooks📚 #audiobook#bookish #bookaddictions #audiobooksrule #books #booklover #bookwormforlife #booknerdlife #bookloversunite #bookslovers📚#bookreviewers#bookreviewblog https://www.instagram.com/p/CPKWGSbLnf8/?utm_medium=tumblr

🌼Tanner is a bisexual boy that lives in Provo, Utah. This is a very small city that is mostly populated by LDS, which makes him hide his sexuality from everyone else except his family. It's their Senior year and Autumn (Tanner’s best friend) drags him to a class where he will write a book after the semester is done. In this class, they are joined by an assistant to the teacher Sebastian Brother. 🌷Sebastian was a student there and had written a book so good that he was going to be published so he is there to help the students, however Tanner is instantly smitten by him, his feelings are conflicting because he doesnt know if Sebastian is gay, even worst he is from the LDS community and he knows that him being attracted to Tanner is not something that is remotely possible. Tanner decides to write about his feelings and his life as the base of the book, without knowing that it all might come true. 🌼This book shows the struggles of someone dealing with their sexuality and being in a highly religious community and also we see Tanner's side that has a supportive family but cannot be fully himself because of where he lives at the moment. I really enjoyed Tanner's character, very easy going and charismatic, also I was appreciative of Tanner’s family and their dynamic, how they loved and supported each other no matter the circumstances. 🌷The ending was great because it was realistic, although it did not end on a sour note, everything was as they say “not coming up roses”, but it ended just right. Still, this book really resonated with me, it had some funny banter, cute flirty moments and some happy blushing scenes that makes this book absolutely memorable. 🎧Listened this audiobook in storytel.com app #booksbooksbooks📚 #audiobook#bookblogger #bookish #bookaddictions #audiobooksrule #books #booklover#bookcommunit#booknerdlife #booklove #bookphotographer #bookslover #bookaholicgirl #bookreviewers #bookreviewblog https://www.instagram.com/p/CPH8LeMLS-v/?utm_medium=tumblr

There are two points of view in this book, first there is Princess Lira, the most dangerous siren in all the seas. She and her kind take the hearts from sailors every year for power but Lira only takes the hearts of Princes, which is something her mother started for her and she wants to do everything to please her mother and prove she can be a queen herself someday. Lira then makes a big NO-NO and her mother punishes her by making her human and asks her to take the heart from Prince Elian, the siren killer, without her siren charms. Elian is the captain of the Saad, he and his loyal crew hunt down sirens and also do piraty things, like drinking and stealing, everything that is in no way apt for a future king, but that is not one of Elian’s current concerns. He is in the search for the eye of Keto which says that can give the power to destroy all sirens from the ocean, with a few leads he embarks on this journey not before having a rebel girl that he found on the ocean tell him that she can tell him how to use this power and the ritual that has to be done before using it. Can you guess who that is? So, I know there are predictable bits to it but I really enjoyed this book. Lira was dark and twisty, and Elian is not the perfect prince that we are used to seeing in most fairy tales. The characters are all enjoyable and lovable, they are a pirate family so obviously there are some trust issues. There is a bit of background on a few members of the crew from the Saad and we get to see how tough and loyal they are. The banter between them was so amusing to me and of course Elian and Lira (slow-burn romance alert) have this I hate you more relationships until they don’t, and it was very entertaining to read. I was a little disappointed by the ending but only because I wanted to know more and there were some things that felt unresolved for me. I will recommend this to all fantasy-mermaid-pirate lovers out there and I will definitely give it a second read. #booksbooksbooks📚 #bookblogger #bookish #beautifulbooks #books #booklover #bookcommunity #bookwormforlife #booknerdlife #booklove #bibliophile #bookslover #bookaholicgirl #bookreviewers #bookreviewblog https://www.instagram.com/p/CPGUDc_LnL5/?utm_medium=tumblr

🔹BOOK🔹REVIEW🔹 The story was about Cadence, Mirren, Jonathan and Gat ( The Liars). It's told from Cadence's perspective, she comes from a family with money and every year her family goes to an island to spend the summer there. One summer, something tragic happens that changes everything for the Liars and since then Cady suffers migraines and selective amnesia, so she doesn't remember what happened on summer fifteen (as she calls it). So, when she gets to come back she tries to find out the truth. Opinion 💫 This book is really popular on Booktok (TikTok) because it will be a sob fest and I almost cried, however it did crush my heart. Obviously, from the start, you know that something tragic will happen and I had suspicions of what it was but when I finally read the truth my heart was squished, crumbled, pulverized. I could not fathom what was going on. I literally stopped, stared into the wall and reread the page. Sure, the main character did have rich people problems and there wasn't a lot of depth in the characters with the exception of Cady, since it's told from her perspective. The plot is basic, but if you want to read it you know you are reading it's morbid and you want to suffer with the character. 🗒edit in canva.com and Pixlr.con ⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ #booksbooksbooks📚 #audiobook#bookblogger #bookish #bookaddictions #beautifulbooks #audiobooksrule #books #authorsofig #booklover #authors #bookcommunity #bookwormforlife #booknerdlife #audiobooksofinstagram #booklove #bibliophile #bookphotographer #bookslover #bookaholicgirl #booksofinstragram #bookreviewers #bookreviewblogger https://www.instagram.com/p/CPCkNakL2-m/?utm_medium=tumblr

Final showdown of the Snow like Ashes trilogy. Meira meets Rares that is from Paisley, where all its people have magic and he takes Meira there to protect her mind from Angra and train her so she can learn to use her magic physically and mentally without feeding the decay. We also hear from Mather ́s POV and this time Ceridwen ́s POV is added to this. We get to see how Ceridwen ́s struggles with her love for Jesse, the king of Ventralli, while also preparing to take back her kingdom. We have more death and betrayal coming from Winter's side (small spoiler). Autumn, Yakimians, Winterians and some of Summer's people all unite to fight for Primoria. Meira knows now what she has to sacrifice in order to stop the decay and end all magic. My thoughts are I love Ceridwen and her humor, I really liked her relationship with Jesse and her inner struggle. Meira was good, I felt like I needed more from her, I wasn't fully satisfied with the development of her character and Mather ́s point of view wasn't really necessary for me here other than at the beginning and the end. He was just pining over Meira the whole time. Now, I know I seem very negative but I really did enjoy it, I liked the relationships and the comedy relief that it had at certain points. The end was enough for me, I think I had the closure I needed from this and I would read it again. 🎧Listened this audiobook in storytel.com app 🗒edit in canva.com and Pixlr.con ⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ #booksbooksbooks📚 #audiobook#bookblogger #bookishpost #bookaddictions#audiobooksrule #books #authorsofig#booklover#authors #bookcommunity #bookwormforlife #booknerdlife #audiobooksofinstagram #bookloversunite #bibliophile #bookphotographer #bookslovers📚 #bookaholicgirl #booksofinstragram #bookreviewers #bookreviewblogger https://www.instagram.com/p/CPABWv4rTVo/?utm_medium=tumblr

The second book of Snow like Ashes, an action, heart-pounding sequel. Like in most 2nd books of any trilogy, this is a bit slow until we get to the middle, maybe a little after that. Meira and the Winterians are trying to rebuild their kingdom after being freed from Spring, this thanks to Meiras new found magic and Cordell ́s support, however she does not fully trust in Cordell ́s King Noam. To set their debt Winterians start digging their mines and provide them with their findings but when they find the magic chasm Meira fears the dangers that are to come if this is open. Noam, however, sends Meira and Theron on a quest through the kingdoms of Primoria to find the keys that will open the chasm and Meira sees this as a chance to find allies that can help her keep Winter safe from Cordell. On her trip, she finds more than just the keys and soon finds that Angra had control over more than just Spring and the Decay has spread out into the other kingdoms. Now, on our Winter queen, Meira ́s favorite word “NO”, I know she is struggling with being a soldier and a queen but I thought she would be better here, at least she finds where her mistakes were and dwells on them for a while, hopefully she learns from her mistakes in the third book. Anyways, I found that this book was ok, it did have its twists and shocking moments and some moments that you sort of expect but not sure when or how it will happen. My favorite character so far is Ceridwen ( Summer’s princess).I went on and on, on how I wanted a Ceridwen’s life story and I found later that there is a small novella on it, so this is a quick edit, moving on.I'm looking forward to the third book because I like world building and the overall plot is really good, the last few pages I really couldn't press pause, I was in it and some very good quotes to live by came from this book. I'm also expecting a very well deserved explanation of the magic system because I think we have only scratched the surface of what it really is and I have a lot of questions. #booksbooksbooks📚 #audiobook#bookblogger #bookish #beautifulbooks #audiobooksrule #books#booklover #bookcommunity #bookwormforlife #bookreviewers https://www.instagram.com/p/CO7MfYUrg89/?igshid=6ex08szppe12

B O O K 🌼 R E V I E W 🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹 Snow like Ashes, is a fantasy book based on a world that is separated by the seasons. Meira, our main character, is an orphan winterian soldier that lives in a camp with only 8 survivors of Winter, a Kingdom that was attacked and enslaved by the Spring King sixteen years ago. To this day these survivors are trying to recover a locket (conduit of magic) that will help them defeat Spring, free the enslaved winterians and restore their kingdom. Meira wants to prove herself and help her kingdom so she finally gets the chance and recovers half the locket, however a series of events are unraveled that show Meira that she is destined to be more than just a soldier. Opinion 💫 I saw very mixed reviews on this book, some good and some bad. I see why the conflicting feelings for this, personally I really liked it. It's more plot driven and its very fast pace which makes it interesting, but because of this a few things are left out in the open, like why is she so good, why was she able to do in her first mission what the others have been trying to do for sixteen years? Meira in a lot of reviews say that she is stubborn and a little bratty but I think this is because she is a teenager that wants to prove she is of value and can do more for her Kingdom. I'm giving her a chance and I think she will be growing throughout the books and be a stronger character. 🎧Listened this audiobook in storytel.com app 🗒edit in canva.com and Pixlr.con ⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ #booksbooksbooks📚 #audiobook#bookblogger #bookish #bookaddictions #beautifulbooks #audiobooksrule #books #authorsofig #booklover #authors #bookcommunity #bookwormforlife #booknerdlife #audiobooksofinstagram #booklove #bibliophile #bookphotographer #bookslover #bookaholicgirl #booksofinstragram #bookreviewers #bookreviewblog #bookreviewblogger #reviews https://www.instagram.com/p/CO4rM-wLmnk/?igshid=1paar648d8m01

B O O K 🌷 R E V I E W 🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹 Ove is a bitter, stubborn, old man that is retired and spends the day pointing out the wrongs around his neighborhood and of the people that surround him. His wife passed away just a few months ago and then he was pushed into retirement so he feels that his life is not what he wants it to be. He then decides that he wants to take away his life to be done with everything and be reunited with his wife. However, his continuous attempts are interrupted by uninvited characters around his neighborhood that become part of Ove’s life and give him a purpose, even if he doesn't want to because he has a heart of gold under that sour grin. Opinion 💫 This story, like the last book I read from Frederick Backman, is just beautiful. It makes you happy and sad as you unfold the life of Ove and what he has overcome throughout his lifetime. Chapter by chapter I shed tears of joy and of heartbreak, that just made me want to meet Ove and hug him. Ove reminded me so much of my grandfather, he past away a few years ago, he was like this man, grumpy and bitter on the outside because he had been through so much pain that made him that way and on the inside he was filled with loved but had strange ways of showing it but we knew how he felt. Backman is an expert on tugging on those heartstrings, it is a feel good book that deals with loss, grief, marriage, love, race, class and division all woven perfectly together giving you a new outlook on life and humanity, not judging on the way one looks and empathy. 🎧Listened this audiobook in storytel.com app 🗒edit in canva.com and Pixlr.con ⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ #booksbooksbooks📚 #audiobook#bookblogger #bookish #bookaddictions #beautifulbooks #audiobooksrule #books #authorsofig #booklover #authors #bookcommunity #bookwormforlife #booknerdlife #audiobooksofinstagram #booklove #bibliophile #bookphotographer #bookslover #bookaholicgirl #booksofinstragram #bookreviewers #bookreviewblogger#bookreviewsofinstagram https://www.instagram.com/p/CO1xS5vL1X0/?igshid=1q88469hz6a6b

B O O K 🌼 R E V I E W 🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹🔹 The book is about Alex, a boy who loves to write spooky, creepy stories that he keeps in a journal “Nightbooks”. One night, Alex sneaks out in the night to burn his books because of a problem that occured at his school, but as he got into the elevator it stops at the 4th floor and he is lured into a witch's apartment where he is held captive. In order to survive, he is required to read a scary story to the witch every day. Alex, although is looking for a way to escape, he is also conflicted because he enjoys having someone appreciate his scary stories. He soon finds out he is not the only one captive and befriends Yasmin, a girl that has been working for Natacha for some time now. He also finds that there have been many more before him and decides to find a way to free himself and Yasmin from their captor before he runs out of stories to tell. Opinion 💫 This is a middle grade book, so it's an easy read but surprisingly it was very engaging. We get to hear each of Alex ́s stories which gives you Goosebumps vibes and the story in itself is dark and chilling. Since its middle grade it's not too gory with its details, so it's good to read with your kid and will not give him nightmares. It has a dash of Hansel and Gretel and another story and well, of course it's a happy ending. 🎧Listened this audiobook in storytel.com app 🗒edit in canva.com and Pixlr.con ⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ .⁣ #booksbooksbooks📚 #audiobook#bookblogger #bookish #bookaddictions #beautifulbooks #audiobooksrule #books #authorsofig #booklover #authors #bookcommunity #bookwormforlife #booknerdlife #audiobooksofinstagram #booklove #bibliophile #bookphotographer #bookslover #bookaholicgirl #booksofinstragram #bookreviewers #bookreviewblog #bookreviewsofinstagram https://www.instagram.com/p/COzbgnhLdSe/?igshid=15s95h4wwx20i
