A City Doomed. 🌆🔥 . 〰️ . My son and I made a bunch of paper models of skyscrapers and filmed them with flame light bulbs and flickering led tea lights, for the background to a music video for Spaced Out by @therealmotmv . It was a lot of fun, and I think they turned out great. This is just three of the shots with a demo of the song in the background, but the actual video will be a lot busier. This one is getting a lot closer to being finished, and I can't wait to share more. This is the cover for the limited edition cassettes of Masterworks by @therealmotmv . @luchakingjr is the artist responsible for this awesome astronaut playing card featuring @i.l.l_tv and me. The "M" stands for Masters. 😉 I am very excited to be sharing this, and I will be posting a lot more as we ramp up to releasing the album. It is much more than a collection of songs to me. I tried to weave it into a story that tells the tale of the journey my friend and I went on to complete this mission. It took us a long time, and we learned a lot along the way. Fight to survive, amongst the stars! 👊🌌 . This is a clip from last year of @i.l.l_tv working on a beat. He sampled some monologue from the vinyl sound track to a classic scifi movie, created some sounds on the kaosillator app, and I never remember where most of the drums come from. But, this beat is one of my favorites. It doesn't appear on the upcoming @therealmotmv album, but I hope it still surfaces, in some form, someday. I took the clip and did some deep style transfer, photoshop, Ebsynth, etc. The 404 looks really cool. ILL's face is hard to make out. Some people are out there fighting in battles much tougher than mine, for their literal survival. Behind the moon! 🌖. I glitched out a video of a 3D model of my boombox that @luchakingjr made to create a cool, glitchy loop and put a little audio loop with it from a @therealmotmv song, Clove Hitch. Add a little data mosh'd logo to the top, and it's a pretty fun post, to me. I'm getting really excited that these songs are coming out soon, so please forgive me if I post a ton of stuff about it. This song is one that we had made in the past, but I remade the beat with new sounds I recorded and sampled, and we updated the lyrics and vocals. This will be the second to last song on the album, and it's one of my favorites. They're all my favorites. It can take you to another dimension, sometimes. 🌌. Here's a loop of @i.l.l_tv listening to something he had just recorded for @therealmotmv , set to a little loop from one of the songs. I took a video from last summer and did a deep style transfer to one frame and then had a program apply that style to every frame. I upped the effect a little halfway through. More than that, and it'd be pretty unrecognizable.....but still cool. You ever get the surreal feeling writing, recording, or playing music like you're not really doing it, you're just watching it happen? Sometimes I will listen to the track afterwards and think, "wow....I did that ...somehow". Other times, it's just the opposite, and that's cool too; just not the same. My son and I exploded these paper buildings outside today for @therealmotmv music video. 🧨. I hot glued an M80 in there. Elmer stood in the background, holding the green poster board (while wearing P.P.E.). I think these turned out great, and I am really excited to work with these in the video. I have always thought practical fx and miniatures were awesome. I know these are far from professional, but I still think they are cool. And, I know they are a blast. That's a pun, probably. What do you guys think of these? I left them without any watermark or anything, so that anyone who wants can use them in their own projects, personal or commercial for free. Here's a few frames from another @therealmotmv video I'm working on. 👨🏻‍🚀 . This one is for the song Final Entry, which is the last song on the album. I second guess myself a lot on these styles and whatnot, but I believe I'm going to be glad I stuck with this one. It makes me & @i.l.l_tv look like we're cosmic energy, and it reminds me of part of a dmt trip. We shot the videos in front of the green screen. Then, I changed the green to black and used the Deep Style Transfer on @deepdreamgenerator to change one frame of each video. Now, Ebsynth is changing all the frames to this style. I really love the results of this workflow, and I can't wait to share these videos with everyone. Stay tuned for more. I recorded some green screen videos with these toys today, for a couple @therealmotmv music videos. 👨‍🚀. The first is a Fantastic Four figure that used to switch from a regular human face to The Thing. I opened it and replaced the head with a plastic skull, added a crack to the dome, and stuck some wires out the front of him. The second is a Starship Enterprise that I removed all stickers and added MotMv stickers on top. I wore my green morphsuit to key me out later. I'm getting really excited that things are coming together here, and I can't wait to show more. I should post more... 😬 Thanks for checking these pics out. Here's a frame from another video I'm working on now! ➖ . This is for a @therealmotmv song, and I'm wearing my Star Trek parody shirt we made over at @i.l.l_tv 's house. This one is super spacey, like our logo. I think it is going to be very cool looking, hope you guys do too! 🤞 I filmed the video in front of a green screen. Then, I used deep style transfer V2 on @deepdreamgenerator to transfer the style of Cosmic Lovers by Alex Grey to one of the frames. Now, Ebsynth is converting all of the frames to that style. It takes a little while, but the results are very satisfying. Many of my friends and "followers" on IG might not know that I , along with @i.l.l_tv ,are a musical duo know as ( @therealmotmv ) Masters of the Multiverse. We have been making tunes together a long time, but we never really released any. That's about to change. ILL found out recently that he has stage 4 cancer, so we have been working harder than ever to bring our songs to completion. This pic is going to be the cover for our album, Masterworks, which we plan to release before the end of the year. It will feature some old songs, reimagining of an old one or two, all the completed tracks we started two years ago, collaborations with friends old and new, and some brand new songs that are our best ever.
