This was an extra special podcast interview with @emikorasmussen . Emi was one of my very first English students in Japan in 2000. It was a bit daunting to be in a new school in a completely different country, but Emi’s friendly chats and help explaining Japanese language & culture made me feel everything was going to be OK. Bit late to post but this was Friday night as I did the last bits of prep for teaching ThetaHealing online for the first time. I’m a bit sad we’re not doing it all again this morning! Currently doing the Jungian Archetypes diploma with Centre of Excellence 😍 I hadn’t explored Jung’s ideas for years but it feels like coming home connecting with his ideas again. For me, it’s that experience when something resonates so deeply you can practically feel your cells coming alive. Time stops and you’re so absorbed and fascinated that nothing else matters 😍 I LOVE IT!!! ✨ And I love that synchronicity brought me the red book in the photo a few weeks ago to nudge me back to Jung. It’s a Moleskine one that was the bargain price of £2.50 (instead of the £20+ it usually costs!) If you’re a Jung fan, you’ll know that he wrote “The Red Book”, which was his explorations of his unconscious mind. Practical guide to psychic ability- or heightened senses that use the unconscious mind to tap into more information than the conscious mind and 5 senses alone. But that’s a pretty boring way of looking it, isn’t it?! 😆 From my experience, if you focus on cultivating deeper, stronger love through healing your deepest wounds, psychic gifts and healing abilities open up naturally. One of the key aspects of the philosophy behind ThetaHealing is that the more you cultivate love in all its forms: patience, compassion, integrity, truth, trustworthiness & so on, the more your abilities develop. My take on it is that to know those qualities of love fully, we have to know their shadow aspects too & accept our capacity for the opposites. Went to visit dad’s tree today. It grows where he was buried 17 years ago. At that time, the thought of life continuing in another form was so comforting after some pretty dark days. Like it was connecting to a deeper truth that getting closer to natural cycles is how it’s meant to be. Last year, before we visited, I created an altar to aliveness in my office. On the way there we had a very near miss with a truck on the way 😱 Sure did feel alive then!!!
