What tips would u give someone who does art but has a problem with being creative
All of this is purely based on my own limited experience but I hope it is helpful regardless :)
Short version:
Drawing prompts and challenges (stuff in the same vein as inktober and nanowrimo) help some people with this.
Draw what interests you/things you like, and keep trying to get something out even if it's hard. But also don't go so crazy and burn out, go at a pace that's doable for you. You can also do art without being creative. "Uninspired" academic art like figure studies can still be beautiful and awesome and cool and something to be proud of, plus they build skills.
Long version (wordbarf incoming):
The first thing I would recommend is to just chase whatever excites you. I find sometimes that spending time doing art in a way that's related to something I enjoy can get my brain turning. Maybe it's sketching a character until I think "hey, this sketch could make a cool illustration!", or doodling environments until my brain starts ideating about fantasy ecosystems. Chasing what excites me can help open that creativity door.
On a more concrete level, some of the most helpful advice I've heard is to make consistent efforts to sit down and just *try* and get something out. Even if it's slow and kinda sucks. Just keep coming back. I've found that creating stories and characters (the primary way that I am "creative") becomes easier the more I sit myself down and practice it. Aiming to have normal times of day where I'm doing art also helps my brain turn on the creativity switch. Although, I have to be careful to differentiate between a solvable period of low creativity and being burnt out.
Most of what I do is throwing stuff at the wall until something that interests me sticks, or until some wheel in m brain starts turning. These are pretty much the only two things I do when I'm trying to be more creative in an ideas sense. Art prompts and challenges work for some people but have never really done it for me.
A lot of art can also be done un-creatively. Life drawing, figures, still life, copying pictures I like; all of these things are just hand eye coordination and not necessarily inspired. It's a physical skill that can be practiced and used to create awesome work, even if ideas are running dry.
But yup that's about what I've got. I hope some of it is helpful :)
And if anyone else has answers for this that would also be much appreciated
Put every character on the ResE wiki in a list then hit a 1-142 rng four times. Took a while to figure out how on earth Birkin's face works, but I've decided his Re0 model is the most fun to draw.
Do you know about Sagan 4? It's a community project--meaning anyone can contribute--focused around worldbuilding and creature design!
This is the first I've heard of it, so I did a little looking into it and it looks interesting! A cool opportunity for worldbuilders with a bend for science. Thanks for sharing!
Seeing as it's been around 24 hours since either of them ate something that wasn't a raw egg, snake, or fish, maybe they get food before heading back to America. I imagine Ashley isn't allowed to leave any secure premises, so perhaps someone goes and orders something and brings it back. Probably a missed opportunity, being all the way in Spain and just ordering McDonalds.
