ive been following for a while, ive lost track of how long honestly, but for some reason it only occurred to me now to ask why, if you like/talk about manfred more than medic tf2, dont you have manfred as your icon? jw
Because I still reblog tf2 stuff and I still like tf2. Also, I'm attached to my icon, if I'm honest. It's one of the drawings I've made that I still enjoy
Ah, I forgot the massive variable that is dystopia
Something I realized because people like to think that Manfred Von Karma would face the death penalty: he wouldn't
In Japan, people do not get the death penalty unless they've killed three people. Manfred killed two, and if we're going by California standards, the death penalty was abolished in 1972. So the hybrid mess that is Japanifornia would have Manfred Von Karma serving life in prison if the bullet marinating in his shoulder possibly didn't do him in first

Coworker that moved away left me and the rest of my small department personalized cards and gifts. Her card said she believed in me to be able to make art as a career and to never be complacent
Honestly, I've been surviving for so long that it just smacked me with the very sobering thought of human connection I wasn't prepared for. I'm thankful, if a little thrown by it all and staring at the ceiling thinking about it in the wee hours
There’s that post that’s like ‘everyone should get into a tiny niche fandom at least once’ fully agree, that was really fun -- but I would like to add that everyone should get into a fandom where their opinions run counter to major fanon because it really teaches you about sticking to your guns and trusting your interpretation of the text without having to rely on peer validation
I mean like, anyone else feel like they get trapped checking on things, it's only whe things don't have to be checked on any more that there's time for drawing, like 2am
Sounds like digital pacing. A lot of running through the same 3 apps to seek out some shot of dopamine since it's generally an easy fix, especially when a more anti-pedestrian and anti-third space society becomes more pervasive along with the commodification of internet space, incentivising companies to endorse internet space to be farms for targeted advertising in increasing homogenized websites, leading to more and more use of the internet so people can maintain some semblance of human socialization to keep their sanity..
