I was wondering, would major danmei pairings still be recognizable if each character in a pairing was reduced down to just their colors, so: I made all the characters as 3 pixels each.
Here they are, have a guess which is which.
Pairings are from svsss, tgcf, mdzs, bab, yuwu, 2ha, spl, guardian, qianqiu, misvil, qjj; non-canon pairings are just from tgcf and mdzs. Answers in reblog

I don't really like when people ascribe all of Mu Qing's actions to being good, like yeah he's misunderstood but he's not that misunderstood, he actually is petty and ambitious and cynical and most of the time he does stuff because of those traits!
He kicked Hua Cheng out of the army because he was jealous, and saying "it's not like it's good to fight in a war" was a post-hoc justification; he left Xie Lian because he wanted to pursue his ambition of ascension, not because he solely wanted to take care of his mother; he put the ghosts of Xianle to rest because he wanted to ascend, not because he cared about their suffering.
And literally all of these reasons are completely fine. He's still a very lovable character who cares about those close to him but is too scared to show vulnerability. He is canonically one of the most competent gods in the heavenly realm. He has so many great traits but I really don't think "motivated by goodness" needs to be one of them.

I’m closer to like ch 225ish now and it is now emphasizing more than Xie Qingcheng really likes to bottom and has really enjoyed it in the past, eg the birthday sex, so I guess I can give that to him.
