Things I noticed when rewatching Return of the King

When Pippin and Gandalf are in Gondor together and they see Mordor in the distance. Pippin looks downright fucking terrified, and Gandalf just puts his arm around him so very gently. I'm not crying you are-

Legolas doing the same thing to Aragorn when they exit the mountain after talking to the ghosts and see the ships on the water. It was the way Aragorn had just collapsed, staring at the ships in defeat. And Legolas not hesitating to comfort him. It's fucking found family and I love it.

I agree I agree I agree 100% yes I concur this cast is fantastic (Like we LOVE THE OG CAST buuuut this fits so well and I love it) especially Diego Luna as Legolas and Idris Elba as Aragorn? Yes. Yep.

Also still stuck on when OP said “He very much has that ‘I could be an a Eastern Orthodox painting of a Saint’ look, that I think your really need in a Frodo.” And- they’re so right
