Just want every young person terrified of becoming older than 23-25 to know that I'm currently 32 and my 20s were fucking miserable and while life isn't wholly perfect right now I wouldn't trade my 30s for my 20s for the LIFE of me. The idea feels as ridiculous as trading my 20s for being in high school. FUCK no. And I'm sure at 42 I'll feel similarly to my 30s and so on and so forth. Embrace the passage of time and be grateful that you get the privilege of growing old, bitch. Life's sooooo much better past your mid 20s.

If you need to block out negativity to keep your mood up because you soak bad vibes up like a sponge - do it. Stop watching the news. Stop watching sad content. Stop listening to sad songs. Tell people that you don't enjoy the conversation you're currently having if it brings you down. You'd be surprised how little negative consequences this has on your life. You're allowed to prioritize your mental health.

It feels like the right time to posts this. I made this fold-up zine with a poster inside in reaction to some incredibly damaging acts of systemic transphobia that occurred in my offline world a few years ago.

The text is adapted from a post by @covington-shenanigans. I hope it’s okay to post here. Thank you for your brilliant words of solidarity and reassurance.

This zine/poster project is a collage that involves the work of many different artists. I’m not sure what the best citation practices are for collage works (which is why I’ve never posted this before now).
