Considering how stupid tumblr is being recently, I think I’ll try to limit down how many blogs I have.

So, this place will probably stay as an archive for this comic and art. But any future Smash art will be uploaded to my main art blog @searching-for-bananaflies

I do also have twitter and deviantart, in case you are planning to leave the site for good (I am starting to be little more active on those places, too)

Dream or not, our heroes know they got each other and are ready for anything. But for now, they deserve some rest at home.

And looks like we figured out who the Master Hand behind all this was and why everything was like a comic...

Ice Climber’s Super Smash Bros Melee Adventure was a comic, I tried to make first time when I was eleven. I tried it second time when I was... 18. Both attempts ended in Great Maze level. I tried the third time... and now 17 years later after first attempt, I finally did it.

This comic might have not been as popular as my other two fan comics and there were times I rushed some pages, but it was still a very special project to me that meant a lot. It was an adventure that I’m proud I finally cleared.

I am moving away from big fan comic projects to a personal comic. So there won’t be subspace emissary comic or world of light. But you can always expect other smaller fan comics. I love Nana and Popo so much. And with Ultimate just around the corner, I bet I’ll be inspired.

Thank you everyone who read this comic and enjoyed it. It means a lot. See you in Smash Ultimate.

Interesting tidbit there in that last page! 😃 Is it safe to assume that Popo & Nana’s Story is also a representation of your first experience with Melee’s Adventure Mode? Mechanically & imaginatively?

Definitely not first experience. 

I put so many hours into melee and tried many different challenges. Like, beat Event 51 with all my mains. That’s how I discovered this cheese against Giga Bowser. And found out that you get an achievement for beating the event without losing a single stock

This is actually based on how I used to beat Giga Bowser in meelee’s event 51 match. I would run off the edge, luring Giga Bowser to follow me and use belay to get back up. Nana actually does damage if she hits anyone and sometimes even just pushed Giga Bowser way down, knocking him out.

That didn’t feel right for this comic tho, haha!
