Alright guys. Life update. So I’ve definitely not been very active on tumblr lately, not that I don’t want to be, but there is a lot going on in my life still yet (don’t worry, a lot of it is good!) and on top of that, I haven’t felt very invested or motivated to self ship. Hence why I haven’t talked much about any f/os or drawn any art. They’re all still so near and dear to my heart and I still love them tremendously, but there just hasn’t been time in my day to think about them as much as I used to. I suppose this counts as a semi-hiatus. I still check tumblr every once in a while, but I’m definitely not active. Not for a bad reason. Life is good!! But I haven't been and probably won’t be on tumblr very much for a while.

So I’m saying this as a head’s up, but also to let you know I’m still here for you all when you need me! So if there are things you want me to see, pls tag me!🙏 or if you wanna talk and stuff, my messages and inbox are still open (and those of you who have my discord, definitely come talk to me still, I miss chatting with you guys💖). Sorry for disappearing off the face of the earth lol. I’m still alive!

(Actual irl life update if you’re curious)

This year has blessed me with many new opportunities and experiences. One prominent thing being getting into my first ever relationship :) my boyfriend and I have been official for about two weeks now, and when I tell you it’s still so insane to me. This is something I’ve prayed for for years and I thought I was going to have to wait longer, but Jesus put us together like THAT and it’s been so so good. He’s so cool, I swear🥰💖

Along with that, we’ve been hanging out with my friend and her boyfriend a lot this past month and it’s been the most fun I’ve had in a long while. Like, all four of us are friends with each other and it’s so comfortable being around each other. It’s insane. I feel like I’ve found my people.

Aside from that, there’s still some ups and downs here and there. But they’re things that I’m trusting God to take care of, and I know He’s always got me. So I’ll be all alright💖

idk if anyone’s ever told u this but sometimes maybe don’t listen to your heart babe. your heart is a living organ that will become the sum of the elements it’s fed. if your heart is living on the diet of internet, isolation, and self-depreciation, your hearts gonna be pooping some nasty craps. you can’t constantly claim that the brain is a fallible source of knowledge without also saying that the heart is a fallible source of desire.

Self shippers, It’s seriously okay to only focus on your mutuals circles when showing your appreciation towards their ships whether it’s rbing, sending asks or anything!! Do not feel as bad for missing your mutuals content or ran out of things to say, even a simple like would show support!! Self shipping shouldn’t act transactional and I HATE how this community prescribed friendship like that. You don’t owe anything and I don’t mean that you shouldn’t care for your friends/mutuals ships!! I mean by you shouldn’t force yourself to engage in every content and expect to get something in return. It's ok not to be ok. People say that a lot but it's true. Just because you're sad now doesn't mean you will be sad forever. Falling apart today doesn't mean you will feel like this tomorrow. If you're sad, that's ok. If you break down, you will be better soon. Don't hate yourself for feeling bad, it's not your fault. Another day will be better.

The further I get into rebels, the more I realize that Hera Syndulla is only the voice of reason among the Ghost crew by default.

Like, this woman is not normal. She could have anybody in the galaxy and she went for a wanted criminal with superpowers. She ran away from her family's palatial mansion to go live in a camper with said criminal boyfriend. Her job experience includes "getaway driver" and that's it. Some punk tried to steal from her and she immediately went "where are the adoption papers, I'm ready to sign". The only reason Hera seems normal is because her family consists of a kleptomaniac, a pyromaniac, a man who spent the first fifteen years of his life in a monastery and the next fifteen years of his life getting drunk, a mass murderer trapped in the body of a trash bin, and a guy who probably lists aggravated assault as a hobby on his Grindr profile.

Hera is the most reasonable member of the Ghost crew. Which is kind of like being the tallest Ewok.
