My thoughts on episode 14:

It was another great episode but did nothing to quell my worries about the finale lol

Did not like that Hemlock and co immediately knew they were coming so was already on edge with things

However, Hunter piloting that ship like he did 🥵🫠😍😮‍💨 and his sass towards Rampart is keeping me (in)sane

Echo was again showing how smart and capable he is!!

That conversation between Crosshair and Wrecker and Crosshair and Rampart shows how far he’s come but also I fear that Rampart will betray them now!!!

Wrecker came a lil too close to getting seriously hurt for my liking so would like to avoid more of those moments please and thank you

Omega and the kids had me stressing because I really thought this was the episode where something would go horribly wrong for them

ZILLO BEAST!!!! Bring on Omega and force sensitive kids to befriend it with what Ventress taught her!!! Bring the chaos!!!

I’m all here for the Echo/Emerie team up but can we get the others in first before doing a rescue mission

Just needed a spade to do a ridiculous but kinda entertaining rant so feel free to skip but personal stuff below cut

Today was supposed to be a good day

It started that way tbf…

I submitted my final piece of uni work forever so that was exciting

Finally tidied my room

I got the next book in this new series I’m trying and that I love so that was great

Decided that it was time to get back to proper adulting because having an empty food cupboard was proving problematic throughout the day so headed out to do a food shop (and it was one of the healthier shops I did so that felt impressive lol)

Then things started to take a turn…

I inhaled a fly on the walk to the shops 🥴

My converse lace broke

Then it got worse…

My card got declined when I went to pay for the shop. I tried 3 times and it didn’t go through so my anxiety started to rise a lil bit

Check my balance to see it’s down £300 and in my transactions r 4 airline purchases that I did not make so uh oh 😰

Had to abandon my shop because I couldn’t pay for it cause my card was halted so the nice store clerk stored it for me

My sister bless her heart came to meet me and bought the shop for me 🫶

My flight or fight fully kicked in because my anxiety makes phone calls extremely difficult but I just didn’t hesitate and went for it. Called the bank where I spent 15mins talking to a robot who didn’t understand what I was saying 😤😤 before I finally got transferred to a lovely lady from the fraud department

She was incredibly helpful and we got it sorted but in the last few seconds of the call I accidentally hung up on her which will haunt me for the foreseeable future

My card is cancelled and it takes 5days to get a new one so I’m in limbo rn

And then I see the Kiner’s send out a scary bad batch eve tweet involving Hunter so I’m just permanently stressed when I really shouldn’t be rn haha

Do other writers ever get this like, hyper-specific dialogue exchange drop into their brains and you know exactly where these character are standing and what they’re doing and how they’re saying these words but that’s all you get. You don’t have much other context and this specific moment that exists only at this time in your headspace??
