As part of my studio clear out, this week I took down everything from my ever growing / changing wall above my main desk. I love collecting images and adding to it, but every so often I feel the need to start again and keep things fresh. It feels good. So this is what it looks like now, with just a few images I still love. It’s good to create space in your head, body, place of work, where you live etc... it definitely has a big impact on me anyway. Back to basics ✏️✏️ I’ve been trying to do a lot of new pencil faces recently, partly to combine with my collages, but some of them I think are best left without all the pattern and colour around them, and just as they are 😌 If you’ve been following my work a while, you’ll probably know that as well as the crazy colourful stuff, I will always return to my love of pencil, it is timeless and at times a welcome contrast (for me) from the abundance of colour.
