Harry needs to be loved, plain and simple. He needs to be loved for who he is, and not what he can do for people. Someone who will treat him like a person, not a weapon and not a savior. I think Draco can give him that fierce, honest love.

Draco needs protection from himself and I think Harry can be the one to draw him out. Draco was loved while growing up, but not safely. He needs to be held accountable and be held to expectations by someone who believes he can meet those expectations.

Obsessed with your current drarry fic!!! Question- and my apologies if you discussed it in the fic and I missed it- but did anyone else in the slytherin crew go to Azkaban? And did anyone visit Draco while he was there, or were friendships resumed (and grown) post sentence?

and no, you didn't miss anything, it was only briefly mentioned by draco that pansy had been away for a bit (chapter 11). of draco's friends, only goyle served a few months in azkaban. pansy went abroad for a bit, as did blaise, and friendships were slowly resumed after draco returned from prison and reconnected with theo. theo's been out here quietly taking care of a lot of behind the scenes things.
