Okay so it turns out that its not the second date.
Hey... So do any of you guys know when its appropriate to tell your date that you may have sold your soul to a group of witches because you wanted them to turn your ex into a duck billed platypus, and now you run their social media? Asking for a friend.

Thursday, August 17.
Officecore.
Picture the scene: an open plan. PCs (specifically PCs) equipped with Windows 98, a fax machine, shredded tin foil and the crumbs of homemade ham sandwiches littered across the desk, workspace dividers for colleagues to lean over and chat with mug in hand (unsolicited), an assortment of names such as Sandra, Michael, and Stephen, wheely chairs, crumpled white shirts, artificial plants, your very own novelty mug that reminds you, eternally, that you are with stupid. All this can be yours and more when you embrace all that is beige, bulky, and office to the core.
It seems you really can yearn for anything. And with the pandemic reducing us to mere home dwellers for the best part of two years, it seems the stale romance of the office really is real. They are easy to mock, sure, but office spaces do indeed possess a unique look, feel, and energy—a vibe, if you will, and indeed must. That is why today we are reluctantly celebrating all that is #officecore.
We hope this finds you well x

Now in no particular order, we’re excited to begin announcing our fantastic ensemble cast! As each episode airs, we will reiterate who plays which role!
Blythe (any pronouns) will be performing at the Edinburgh Fringe in ‘Pinocchio! The Panto,’ which they wrote! Whilst they spend a lot of their free time in the theatre, they also enjoy wild swimming and genealogy.
Vicky (she/they) has a love of ghost stories and folklore, spending spare time writing and doing an ever-increasing list of crafts.
Paul Warren (he/him) @nevernotninja is a Scottish voice actor who has recently appeared in A Highland Song, The Rest is Electric, Viewfinder, and October’s Children. He’s often playing games, walking the hills, or going on hour-long wiki dives.
Emily (he/she/they) is a poet, actor, and cosplayer. They very much enjoy LARP and TTRPGs; generally anything nerdy!
Thanks for being a part of the podcast!

And to balance out the chaos Delilah brings to the office, we have Rose, played by Poddy Wilson! Rose is a new hire by the office, and is nervous and enthusiastic in equal measures. However the presence of her previous job lingers, and adapting is harder than she thought.
Poddy (she/her) is an actor, presenter, and French student at Oxford, where she has performed in a number or plays, including A Midsummer Night’s Dream as ‘Bottom,’ and God of Carnage as ‘Michelle’. She is also a tap dancer, and -true story- can drive a small tractor.

Moving on from the crew, we are so excited to start announcing members of our insanely brilliant cast: starting with L M Clohessy (she/her), who is playing Delilah!
Delilah is the spirited office employee who is seemingly never doing their job, instead offering constant quips to their desk-mate Circe, or eating other peoples sandwiches out of the fridge.
L M Clohessy is the director/producer of @theatticmonologues , and the creator of To Chart a Well-Trod Course and Hit Replay. You can hear her in @ethicstownpod , @tellnotalespod, and Ankorr 643. She is an archeology graduate, and very fond of iced coffee.
