[There wasn't usually a noise coming from that classroom, and for a brief moment Avery panicked-- was there a janitor here? She thought they generally had summers off-- the last thing she needed was to be caught loitering in some off-limits old classroom looking vaguely guilty. She wasn't even doing anything really, just wasting her time, but it would seem suspicious that she was even there in the first place.]

[Her initial instinct was to hide, and she did-- ducking behind a stack of chairs and pulling up the hood of her jacket. But then she heard a voice; feminine and entirely non-janitor-ish. Standing slowly, the redhead called back,] What? Me?

[Nixie, running out of things to do lately, and tired of getting herself drunk and depressed, had latterly found a hobby of exploring the deserted rooms of Disland. She’d been looking for abandoned and forsaken things, stuff left behind, this newly discovered trait most likely coming from her aunt. She had recently found a ramshackle projector in one the vacant and underused homerooms in the very back of the school. She stepped inside, and making sure that no one was around, pulled up a chair from the back of the class, and managed to turn the machine on.]

[She sat back and watched the flickering grey screen, when she heard a rattling. Not bothering to turn off the overhead, she turned to the door.] Who’s there?

[Not a lot kept Avery busy these days, much to her dissatisfaction. She'd become a bit of an insomniac (not that she usually went to sleep early in the first place), and, armed only with her cell phone and a jacket, had taken to wandering the flourescent-drenched streets. As she wandered aimlessly, she caught sight of a figure she recognized up ahead.]

[She picked her way almost cautiously towards the brunette, a smile tainting her lips.] You alone?

[Alena was stumbling around the outskirts of Disland’s campus, inebriated, a small smirk on her face. She spent the night at Club Phoenix, but was then whisked away to someone’s apartment for a party. Growing tired of the scene, she stumbled back to Disland Prep’s campus. Finding a bench, she sat down and stared at the sky ]

Where-- would they even get the treadmills from? Oh gosh, what--? Why not? That's exactly what I'm hoping for! Where's the fun if they're not scary? But oh, I know, we're totally the dream team for surviving a zombie apocalypse. No doubt. 

I know, the Common Room! Alright I was watching this video on youtube once and these people were talking about how if there was ever an apocalypse, they would surround the room their in with treadmills. Then the zombies would be trying to walk in, only to get stuck running on the treadmills! I just hope the zombies don’t escape after that, because they’re going get a real workout from that. I just hope they’re not like those disease-ridden I Am Legend people. No no, we need all the ideas we can get! We’ve got this, Avery!

who is more dominant in the bedroom?

Zane is definitely the more dominant of the two. Avery has her moments (usually spontaneous and fleeting), but for the most part she’s just naturally submissive to him— not that she minds being dominated.

who complains the most?

Probably Avery. She doesn’t complain so much as she just whines— about little things, mostly. And sometimes it can be cute, and other times it’s totally punch-her-in-the-throat annoying. 

who is the laziest?

Neither of them are particularly lazy, but they both have their moments. Sometimes they’re both incredibly lazy at the same time and accomplish nothing.

who wakes up the earliest?

Avery. She can’t sleep if it’s not totally dark, so she tends to wake up early. The sunrises are just a perk. 

who does the chores around the house?

Generally both of them pull their own weight with chores, even if they gripe about it. Avery usually tries pawning her chores off to Zane, but if he throws that tactic back at her she’ll succumb and do his chores, too. 

who is the most protective of the other?

Zane. He’s generally very protective of her, and even when she complains about it she still secretly likes that he cares so much about her. 

who gets jealous the easiest?

Probably Zane. Protectiveness and jealousy go hand-in-hand, and Avery is generally unconcerned about people Zane talks to or the things he does without her.

No way. You know what this means? We have to find an abandoned warehouse or something and make a bunch of weapons out of household items. And, like, find other survivors. And wear ripped clothing that makes us look like we haven't showered in five days but are still somehow so hot.

I'm just kidding. That's the worst way to try and survive-- if this really is the apocalypse, I'm actually so prepared. 

Well we’re still with everyone from school but we’re not in classes, y’know? Wha- actually yes, that would explain why I hardly see people around! We’re part of only a handful of survivors, sorry.
