Hello world of Tumblr!

So, recent events have made me decide that I am going to be moving all my content on this blog (and my side blogs) to a new Tumblr. A place where I will be posting all my fandom works on and most likely continuing stories on there. I might keep this one up as a personal blog but as of today, i will be moving all content such as; mood boards, fanfics, prompts, etc. to my newer blog!

What are you wearing right now: pajama shorts and a tank top

Why did you choose your URL: it used to be queenofnekoma but I changed it to lizardboi-satori because my mom came in one day while I was fangirling over tendou and she said he looks like a lizard. So she has been calling him lizard boi for the past few months.

What did your last relationship teach you: my last relationships were close together, one was with a girl way younger than me and it was long distance and she ended up breaking my heart around Christmas. The other was a girl who I cared about a lot but didn’t like her romantically but we still managed to get into a relationship. I learned that even the people you trust a lot can turn on you and hurt you. Needless to say I was manipulated and hurt so much that I don’t trust easily and it’s hard for me to make friends or relationships with anyone now

Religious or Spiritual: I wouldn’t say I am either of them. I mean I am more in touch with my spiritual side cuz I’m sensitive to spiritual activity but I wouldn’t say I’m spiritual over religious. I was born into a Christian family and my grandpa was very into the Bible and stuff and I used to believe in that stuff but now I don’t really care or believe in half the stuff the Bible says. (I can literally go on so imma stop here)

Favorite Color: I really like the colors; black, red, orange and yellow

Average hours of sleep: I go to bed early and sometimes wake up early or late so. So probably 7-10 hours

Future plans for this blog!

Hello! I just wanted to update everyone on my future plans for this blog. As you know, this is my Haikyuu side blog. I haven’t done a lot with this blog but I have a story out called Now You See Me.

So far the story hasn’t gotten much feedback or anything and I have one more chapter that i want to post before I end up putting the story on Haitus.

It’s really not a surprise to me that I am putting it on Haitus. I have been planning on doing so for a while but never got to making the post about it.

Other than that, I started writing another story. So far it is Shiratorizawa based and is not going to follow the anime. I have two possible pairings for the OC (yes this story is an x OC fic), the pairings are Satori Tendou x OC or Ushijima Wakatoshi x OC.

It will mostly be focused around my OC’s relationship with the girls volleyball team and her relationship with the boys volleyball team.

Fair warning, I am fairly new to writing for Ushijima and Tendou. So I can’t guarantee that they won’t be out of character. I’m sure once I keep writing for them some more, I will get a hang of how they are.

But yeah, that’s basically what I wanted to say and get out there. I will probably post what my next story is about at some point. I don’t have an exact date when it will be out because I don’t even have a title for it yet.

If you read this whole thing thank you so much for being patient with me! I haven’t been able to write much and I am only writing now because my idiot self drank an energy drink at 1pm.

Also to the people who have been waiting patiently for me to post, thank you for being patient with me! I have a tendancy for disappearing out of nowhere but I am trying to get back into writing more!

Now You See Me [Haikyuu x OC] Chapter Three

This morning was probably the worst morning I ever had. I had woken up late which meant that if I wanted to walk to school with Miwa, I had under 5 minutes to get ready.

As I got up from my bed, I almost fall to the floor. I catch myself and groan at the pain in my knee.

‘Shit. I must have overdid it yesterday.’ I think and grab my knee brace putting it on. After I finish getting ready for school, I look at the time and send a message to Miwa letting her know I was late and she should go on without me.

I headed to school with my earbuds in and head down. Not like anyone would notice me anyways. I made it with ten minutes to spare so I go to find Shimizu-san. Once I find her, she spots me quickly and waves me over.

“Hey Ash. What do you need?” She asks politely.

“Oh um. I was wondering if you needed any help with the boys volleyball team?” I ask nervously.

“You want to join?” She asks looking at me confused, “what happened to the club you were in last year?”

“Thought I would branch out this year. I can’t always depend on Miwa for everything.” I admit.

“Okay. Well, we have a three on three game this Saturday if you want to come. I can show you the ropes and that would also be a good way for you to meet everyone too.” Shimizu explains. I smile and nod before thanking her and leaving to my classroom.

The school day officially came to a close and I found myself wandering the school grounds again. I heard the sound of a ball hitting skin and followed the noise. It was getting dark by now so I was confused on who could possibly be playing at this hour.

“Will you pay attention?! The game is Saturday and I don’t know about you but I don’t want to lose!” I hear a familiar voice say. Instantly a smile creeps onto my face as I sneak up behind Hinata who was whining and completely unaware of me.

“Sunshine!!” I exclaim and Hinata screams almost sounding similar to a girl. I let out fit of giggles and Hinata yells at me.

“Not cool Ash!” He whines and I stop giggling.

“Sorry sunshine! It was just sooo easy!” I giggled.

“Are you two done? We need to keep practicing!” Kageyama orders getting annoyed at us.

“Yeah we’re done, el grumpo.” I say waving him off.

“Will you stop calling me that?!” He groans. I hold my hands up in defense and step out of his way. I watch them serve and receive back and forth for a while until my phone rings. I look at the time and swear.

“I gotta go! See you guys on Saturday!” I exclaim with a bright smile. Hinata waves and Kageyama rolls his eyes as he tosses the ball to Hinata again.

Mom was waiting at the back enterance of the school with Aaris sleeping in the back seat. “Sorry for being late and probably worrying you...” I mumble as I finally get into the car and buckle up. She dismisses it and we go home, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that I did something or something bad happened...

A/N: I just realized how short this chapter is!! Anyways, the next chapter might have a flashback or something and it doesn’t really have much about the Haikyuu characters. It’s more a look into Ashlyn’s life than anything.

Description; “Being an outcast was a choice up until now. Now, I was just sick of being invisible.”

“So did you decide what club you were going to join?” Miwa asks looking at me as I was a lot quieter than usual. I barely even heard her but she nudges next and repeats her question.

“Hm? Oh... I think so. I just need to get ahold of some people first.” I sighed while rubbing my temples.

“You don’t look or sound too excited. Which club is it anyways?” She says fully looking at me now. I stayed quiet for a moment.

“I analyzed all of them. Along with coming up with scenarios in my head and thinking which ones would have less the amount of socializing. Before I knew it... I only had one choice left... and it is Volleyball.” I tell her. She stops and looks at me confused.

“Volleyball? Are you sure? You haven’t played since-“ she starts.

“My accident. Yeah I know. But I figured I would get in touch with Shimizu-san and ask her if she needs help with managing the boy’s team.” I start, “it’s kind of like a win win to be honest.”

“What do you mean?” Miwa asks making me look at her.

“Well, I don’t have to play, but I can still help out ya know? I still enjoy the sport. Even if I did injure myself last time.” I admit with a tinkle in my eyes. We get to my house and Miwa waves goodbye and wishes me luck before going back to her house.

I opened the door to the house and was immediately almost knocked to the floor. I catch myself though by grabbing onto the door.

“Onē-san! You’re finally home! Can you help me practice for volleyball? I want to be the best!” Aaris explains. I look down my little brother and smile.

“Sure kiddo. Let me change and we’ll practice at the court down the street.” I responded as I ruffle his hair. He beams up at me and nods as he runs off to the kitchen. Probably to tell our mom that I agreed to helping him out.

I slipped my shoes off before entering the house fully. After I get to my room I change out of my school clothes and into a pair of shorts, a sports bra under a tank top, a light sweater and my running shoes. I grab my knee brace and my knee pads before tying my hair up in a high pony tail.

Walking out of my room and into the kitchen, Aaris was waiting patiently for me to be done, well not really patiently. He was still bouncing up and down in his seat.

“How was school honey? Did you pick a club yet?” Mom asks looking at me as she handed me a few water bottles and some snacks. Both for me and Aaris.

“School was okay. I met some people who are on the boys volleyball team. They seem chill. But as for a club, I need to get ahold of Shimizu-san before I officially join the club I want.” I say animatedly.

“Good for you hun! I’m so proud of you! And you seem a lot happier today than you usually are! Maybe this will finally be your year!” Mom exclaims. “Anyways! If you start getting tired, take a break! Drink lots of water and Ashlyn? If your knee starts to hurt, come home.” She says.

“Yes Oka-san!” Aaris and i exclaim.

“Another one!” Aaris yells as he gets up from the ground.

“Aaris, you’re only going into your second year of Junior High-“ I start.

“I wanna be the best! I want to be like our Nii-sans! And I want to be like you! You all are so strong and I want to as strong as you guys! Please keep serving to me! Give it all you got Onē-san!” Aaris exclaims. I smile and nod determined to make his wishes come true.

As the day started to end, the sun was starting to set, Aaris and I sat on a bench drinking some water and fueling up for the race we challenged each other to. First one home wins. Last one home has to do the dishes tonight.

“Thank you Ash. I really appreciate you helping me out... I-I know you don’t like to play as much anymore because of you knee but, you’re still the best libero I’ve come across!” Aaris loudly says, trying to hype me up.

“Thanks kiddo....” I quietly say. I look at the sunset and smile wondering what our older brothers were doing right now. The sound of my bag zipping up brings me out of my head and I look at Aaris as he slips on the backpack. He was ready to go. “Alright, you ready?” I ask. He nods and gets into position. “Go!” I yell and start running off.

“Hey! Wait up Onē-san!” Aaris calls after me and I just laugh. These times were what I cherished the most. Aaris might be a pain in the ass most of the time, but he’s my little brother. I only have this year and next year with him. Might as well make the most of it.
