So, this fucking crazy guy wants to eradicate education and health care. Sexual education, abortion and all the rights that kids have because they're fucking kids. Not even thinking about lgtb rights. He hates poor people but he's going to be the next president and I'm so scared.

In all the elections you have that crazy fascist guy that it's there but nobody is taking care of him. But now teens are voting him because they not understand what he's really saying and I'm mad and sad. But afraid is the real word.

thinking about the princeton visit so much, because it really crystallized so many things re: benvi

he wasn’t speaking to her. he wasn’t speaking to her, but he showed up, and she called him friend, and that meant something to him.

so he gives her space with her real friends. lets her dance and drink and doesn’t think about anything else, like what could have been — but some asshole suddenly has his arms tight around her waist, and she’s fighting, and before ben can stop himself he’s there. and receiving a swift punch to the face, to top it off.

he wasn’t speaking to her, but as he iced his very manly wound, she opens up to him and shares her fears. all the same fears ben was having but didn’t know how to say or who to say it to or didn’t think he could say, even, because - c’mon! they’re the best. no one feels that way. but —

she shares, and she’s honest and vulnerable with him for the first time in a long time. tells him she misses him, really.  he does not have it in him to say what he really wants to (because margot and baggage and the ice pack on his face), so instead, he adds a david to his sentence.
